Claiming it could not of gone any smoother.
My renewal offer was the same £28.28 I was already paying but + the CPI + 3.9% in April.@weimaraner95
VM retention offered me 250M for £29 a month and I declined because Vodafone was cheaper with their 910mb service at the time.
I got offered on WhatsApp 250M for £20.20, never bothered to haggleYeah I know but rather than just leave want to see what VM offer me to stay.
Did VM not contact you at all other than your final bill
The 3.9% + CPI is now illegal as of 17th Jan. They have to give you a specific £ and pence figure in new contract increasesMy renewal offer was the same £28.28 I was already paying but + the CPI + 3.9% in April.
As said, retentions didn't offer me anything or call me.
Only on new contracts after that date, if you singed up before / renewed before that, then you still get the the CPI + 3.9%The 3.9% + CPI is now illegal as of 17th Jan. They have to give you a specific £ and pence figure in new contract increases
Statement: Prohibiting inflation-linked price rises
Yes I know you did, but point is, if I had renewed or signed up as a new customer it would have been before that date, so would have still be subject to the CPI + 3.9%I did put the NEW bold font. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
Same here 25 yrs Telewest/VM on dial up , max speed we have ever got is 250mb , they are seriously going to have to give better deals , for so long had the monolpy. Not even going to haggle , if they can't beat the competition in the first offer I'm off .The Yodel point in my area is inundated with Virgin equipment returns.
I've mention before Virgin was all we had in our area for 25 years or more and it seems like most of the area is jumping ship.
These rises they force on you will end up not working for them, more and more will leave and bounce between who ever is cheaper at renewal time.
