Broadband Retentions leaving Virgin question - Price increase

Got about 5 different phone calls back from retentions and they all offered the same deal, must be getting alot stricter on their discounts

I did put the NEW bold font. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
Yes I know you did, but point is, if I had renewed or signed up as a new customer it would have been before that date, so would have still be subject to the CPI + 3.9%

They will instead put the prices up £3.50 every April on the new contracts after 17th Jan, which is more than the the CPI + 3.9% was last year (on the package I was on).

The Yodel point in my area is inundated with Virgin equipment returns.

I've mention before Virgin was all we had in our area for 25 years or more and it seems like most of the area is jumping ship.

These rises they force on you will end up not working for them, more and more will leave and bounce between who ever is cheaper at renewal time.

Same here 25 yrs Telewest/VM on dial up , max speed we have ever got is 250mb , they are seriously going to have to give better deals , for so long had the monolpy. Not even going to haggle , if they can't beat the competition in the first offer I'm off .

Just been stopped in the street by Youfibre , ask etc who we with and what we paying, contract notice with ,VM going in on Tues ,
YF guy said they can set us up say for the 20th ( planned installation) if Virgin can't offer us a deal. Not sure what to do , wait it out with Virgin ? See what they offer?

Guy is calling back later this evening, missus will be in then.

I and the kids ( 17& 22 ) want fastest speed & ££ , missus wants cheapest deal regardless of speed.

We are currently on 125mb @£21.69, he said he could double the speed for the same price. On the flyers and website they only advertise 150mb £23.99500mb £28.99 900mb £31.99.

Ah bollocks , Missus took the call as it's in her name and she needs to send over contracted speed and price to get the deal
Offered 500mb for £21.76 , he offered to double speed from 250mb to 500mb .

Problem is we are on ,125mb not 250mb . ffs
