Oh, touching on the Volt thing the bloke on the phone goes to me do you have a O2 sim. I said yes. Never been with O2 in my life lol. So it must be a way they can swing you a better deal and double your Broadband.

@G_1981 bagged the best deal yet! £14 yet to be beaten! Whoever beats it I'll reward them with a £20 Amazon Voucher. You have my word lol!

I wonder who can get the best deal on the 1gig Volt 2 package 🤔🤔🤔 advertised price is nearly £90 and it includes the new Asian tv package aswell.

Hope this retention team getting in touch is true, just been on the phone for 48 minutes to cancel my contract , I am paying £32 per month for 200mbs nothing else, the cheeky bas***d offered me a new "protected" contract for 200mbs for £31 !!!, told them no I'm leavig then he started talking about returning equipment (is this normal), anyhow see what happens.

Yes it's normal, I usually just say, send me a box or you can pick it up from the doorstep I don't care.

In 22 years, they have never ever sent me a box or bothered to turn up to collect any of there equipment from me.

I must have had 10+ modems / hubs in that time and atleast 8 tv boxes including the HD boxes when they first came out that I terminated the contract on as they tried to charge me £150 for the equipment that they never told me about, so after a long heated argument, they eventually terminated the contract for the tv and said they would be collected. After about 5 years I ended up binning them (after removing the hard drives from them).

So along with Hub 5 not fully rolled out the new WiFi 6 pods aren't been given out.

How incompetent can one company bloody be!!

Can’t expect everything to be free from isp providers.
Sky won’t give you their WiFi booster you have to pay £5 a month extra for one
So you do for the pods with VM.

If your a volt customer or oomph customer then you get it for free.

Those who put the cancellation notice in and got told on the phone and by email to return the equipment.

Will VM require equipment returned within the 30 days or after 30 days where services would have been terminated?

Just phoned Virgin on retentions number.
Isn't guy said all he could do was offer £3.25 discount for 6 months (which is price rise) so said I wanted to cancel. Put me through to cancellations. Best the offered was £2 off (currently paying £25 for 50mb & talk weekend) said NO I'd like to cancel.

God that's like pulling teeth.

So guess I'll have to see what happens now?
The lady on phone "if you change your mind call back & they'll see what see can offer"
So always have that option.
