Itv, channel 5 apps don't work getting the warning screen above. Seems ok upto now, remotes a little plasticky and the middle button is slightly small. Or I have big fat fingers. Trying a few things now will post again

Also needs a spare usb slot for power. Comes up on tivimate as a firestick. Shows up as the same name. Ran some 4k YouTube through it looks good. As HDR and HLG HDR too.

Seems solid. Ran a few things now and no problems at all.

Changes a few picture settings and all's just as good as firestick.

Seems a bit faster at some things.

Volume controls a bit weird it doesn't seem to adjust TV volume as such. It does go up in volume but full volume is low so need to alter TVs volume too. Unless I'm missing something.

VPN works and Tivimate

Thanks - I never knew itvx and my5 were locked to certain devices.

Can you try Sparkle IPTV please - it's fab at connecting to an Enigma2 receiver (if anyone has one).

Its a little strange they have gone to the trouble to get all the premium apps certified yet thing's like BBC iPlayer won't work. Suppose they would have to do the same in every country but BBC is worldwide.

The BBC sell their programmes internationally.
iPlayer is not meant to be worldwide and you need a VPN to access it abroad and it only works with certain VPN’s.
I would imagine it’s the same for the other UK catch up apps.

Is this any better than the onn box from the USA or a 4k Google chromcast just curious as I have both but always interested in something better?

I've not tried one but from what I've seen it's like a CCwGTV 4k but with more storage.

Personally I think picking up a CCwGTV 4k on sale is a better option.
