Ive just installed this and it is opening my Dual .db list and seems to allow me to modify it.

Ill test it more when i get some time.

Yeah it seems to work.
Also there's an option to automatically reorder the list..
There's one for 28.2 in the sky numbers but is a bit outdated.
So I guess it can be edited in notepad+ to get the new order.. not sure on how to do it..

so what are the numbers after the 2-
Think they are channelid and serviceid

I've not put more than 5 mins into this so i guess you'll need to try the notepad method and see.

I was considering doing this in Excel when i have the time.

In the readme file i see this note

NOT supported:
- adding new transponders or channels
- changing tuner related properties of channels (ONID, TSID, SID, frequency, APID, VPID, ...)

So some of it will have to be done in notepad/excel anyway.

The 28e template included is as you say well out of date.

It could be a useful tool but not without been able to edit ONID, TSID, SID, frequency, APID, VPID its just something to move the order of the channels.

What is interesting is this editor will also open Enigma2 lists.

Need to see if there as a way to save it to a .db list for use on the Dual.

I'll need to have a play when im home from work.

Well it does transfer to the box fine so that's good.
Only thing is the box won't keep the sky channel numbers 😢
Will only start from number 1 not 101

Ahhhhhhh no good then.

Wondering if thats the dual doing that or the list made with the editor ?

@Ferret. Just had a go at this and still a very handy application to sort channel order. Beats doing it on the device. Thanks for sharing.

The duel id say as doesn't support channel gaps

If you have a custom E2 list you can create templates from them..
Then just apply them to your duel lists

I loaded a list from e-Channelizer
But yet to figure it out properly.
What I'm might do is just run autobouquetsmaker on 28.2 and make a template for it.
With them big custom lists it loads as one long list and can't seem to pick just Sky Deutschland

Ive just loaded the ciefp list selected 16e Sport and as you see the middle column is populated with 16 Sport it does not seem to be a long list but a favourites listing.

Now how do a get this converted to use on a Dual as a .db file ? Have you got that far yet ?

Ahhh it was a beautiful pipe dream.

Not even adding them to templates as you mentioned earlier.

This will but 28.2 in the Sly order..
load your list and then point it to the Sly UK Order file and it will auto re order them..
Its none the same as abm..

But channels dont start at 101 etc or ?
