I very rarely play about with the android side only when i really want to watch a game that's not got a feed, other than this the e2 gets a lot of abuse with lots of different images installed.

Its not great at recording Stream relay channels, they fail to record on a regular basis. Its a bug and reported endless times with no fix ever applied in later firmware releases. Packed my box up and stuck it in the shed after 1.09.

Saying that if it was set to record F1 it probably fell asleep.

I fell asleep watching it but on Tuesday afternoon when I caught the replay. I'd been on nights and it was Monaco

Have you recently installed any QVIART-DUAL-V1.09.bin? Maybe they've fixed some of the many nebulae they've come across online?

1.09 from reports I have read is a step backwards with more bugs reported.

No further forward than 1.07 other than a server update and as per usual other quirks seem to have turned up in 1.09

Not sure why but after running the OTA 1.09 for the last 2 weeks it's decided to revert the resolution to 3840x2160 50hz every time

I tried to record something last weekend so set the timer in the morning and left the receiver on but came home that evening to the receiver in standby and no recording there must be some kind of APD set in the firmware that you can't disable.

Worked it out, If I have my resolution set to 4096x2160 50Hz and put the TV into standby then back on the resolution changes to 3840x2160 60Hz every time
To prevent this from happening I have found that if I power off the receiver first and power the receiver on before the TV, the resolution is always 4096x2160.
Unfortunately this doesn't prevent digital sound RAW reverting to PCM.

Since yesterday my qviart dual is showing randomly my serial number on the screen. Appears in different colours and different positions. It's like some paid platforms show the costumers serial number in order to avoid IPTV cast.
It's normal? I'm using firm 1.09 and appears in android.

I thinks it's to show qviart or others who's box is being used for streaming. Don't worry about it if your not using your box for streaming.

No mate only Tivimate

I wonder if Tivimate is downloading the epg somewhere. I very rarely use mine on the Android side. There is a chance it could be an issue with 1.0.9 software maybe.

Ah never even thought about that mate.
Just checked Tivimate and low and behold at 09.13PM it done the EPG update.
Looking at the settings for the EPG it's set past days to keep 7 lol..
That will be the issue I'm sure.

I ran all sorts of apps including Tivimate and Implayer never got close to filling the duals internal memory.

Strange it seems to suggest that with just Tivimate alone.

Ah that maybe a different matter and a channel limit has kicked in, ive no idea how many channels it can store.

How many channels do you have under ALL ?

I'll check when I get a chance to turn it on mate.. At the moment can't as my daughter has a few friends sleeping over...
But have 45e to 30w on it .
