Qviart Qviart Dual 4k Uhd Linux Enigma2+Android 9.0 Combo Review & Setup Guide Experimental Receiver

OTA to 1.09 available on your box which seems to be a bit improved over the initial release but some of the mentioned bugs remain.

I've found that HDR is working, timer and manual recording works, screen resolution selection remains as selected and in File Manager delete move, rename etc now works

BUGS: Sound selection always reverts to PCM, time on EPG PRO different, channel swap doesn't work and channel move will work but you need to delete number in box first. If you leave the receiver in standby overnight it will randomly come out of standby and switch the TV on :openmouth:

Dedicated media player so you don't have to go looking for the recordings in file manager and an improved EPG would be nice

There's bound to be more other users will find so try it and list them here (y)

🔥 Also if you want to greatly improve the speed at which the GUI works try the following.

In Developer options and Under Drawing set Window, Transition and Animator scale to off or minimum .5

if you don't have Developer options after updating to 1.09 and factory reset got to Settings, Preferences, Applications, All, Settings, Open, Accessibility, Remove Animations
 
Android only.Any click on "Volume+/-" blocks audio. With a click on "Hotkey(Mute)" I unlock it. It's just that the phenomenon repeats itself endlessly. What can be done? In the configurations I found no solution.
In Linux it's ok.
I installed Qviart DUAL (1.07).bin.
 
We installed H-H engine.The dual Qviart receiver does not rotate the antenna on Android or Linux.
We rotated the antenna with Octagon sf8008 4K, Octagon sf4008 4K, AB PULSe 4K UHD,Qviart Lunix3 4K.
Is there any solution to rotate the antenna with this receiver?

I don't know what a h-h engine is other than a motor but i have no problem using my dual with either a tm2300 or tm2600 motor under both android or E2 using Usals.
 
I as an amateur used satellite antennae rotated parabolas with polar mount, they did not appear offset.
Now the rotation is much for the offset with H-H/horizon-horizon.
Receivers I've used from analog so far to UHD.
I don't want to be wrong, but I think the dual Qviart receiver is a failed achievement, I doubt that much will change through the software.
I also have the VIARK COMBO receiver, very good.If it had bigger memory and it was UHD, we would say "lessons" to Qviart dual


That's how I'm waiting for a satellite scan, scan that's not done.

Since you are motorised use this channel list.

Qviart - Full Motor-Qviart Dual-4k-UHD-BY-FENEKI Latest

After installing all you need to do is setup your usuals coordinates.
 
This receiver if able to make moving tv stations to FAVORITES-Android would be acceptable.
I don't understand why it doesn't have this option, satellite receivers had this option 28 years ago.
At least to have watched VIARK COMBO, also Android.

If you haven't found it yet that function is under Edit Channels, Edit TV Favourites
 
It's not about editing FAVORITE.I am interested in the FAVORITE created to be able to move in the order I want the tv stations.

It's not yet possible to do that. You have to add channels to favourites in the order you want them to appear.

Not sure why but after running the OTA 1.09 for the last 2 weeks it's decided to revert the resolution to 3840x2160 50hz every time (n)

I tried to record something last weekend so set the timer in the morning and left the receiver on but came home that evening to the receiver in standby and no recording (n) there must be some kind of APD set in the firmware that you can't disable. (n)

There are settings in the viark sat 4k that allow you to change this, its also noted that the people who run the forever server do not want you leaving your box on a certain channel for a long duration. They believe that people who do this are streaming from their boxes for others to watch. They give you something like 3 strikes and your out.

I have a SAT 4K as well as the Dual and have seen this mentioned a few times so left the Dual on a FTA channel with the recording made for the GP on F1 channel it would have been around 8 hours before the recording was due to start so must of went to standby sometime before (n)

How you supposed to record if it does that everytime?

I have both too, i've seen mention of something like 4 hours max before they don't like it.
