Personally I would go for the HDD as the speed is better for recording and play back with the EPG, Picons and swap file all on the drive.
 
First of all a big thank you to Wooshman for all the hard work you must have put in on your fantastic build. Have a slight problem after updating a new box with latest build, everything went great,when checking EPG screen noticed some of the program headings was in yellow and was unreadable,please see attached image.Anybody else experienced this problem.002.jpg
 
Hi Guys

i am trying to download woos build for my Zgemma 2s box, i can t seem to download it from the website, as i have updated to openvix on my box but the resolution is very poor and also the box freezes quite a lot.

quick question I'm pretty sure this one does not work for the Zgemma 2s as its not flashing the boxes please advise?

A very big thank you for your excellent build and simple but thorough instructions - took me about 10-15 mins to install.
This is my 1st Zgemma H2S box and I am very happy with it, very smooth with a great skin.
Took me a while to work out how to put channels into Favourites etc. all done now and is working a treat - wife is very happy

I have been using Kodi on Android for a while so I am looking forward using it on this box...

Again, thanks for your hard work on this great build.

As long as the missus is happy mate, we are all happy.

As for Kodi - KodiDirect - To be honest I wouldn't bother and would stick to what you have. KodiDirect is very very VERY hit and miss where one day an addon will work, the next it ill hang you box.

IPTV player on the other hand... no there is no live streaming, but with the amount of Addon which stream Films and TV series you are spoiled for choice.

Hi guys, a quick question here; I'm currently running the sucmnsee image on my h2s, but the epg doesn't seem to be storing updates. Could I just reflash the box with wooshbuild, or would I have to do anything fancy first?
 
Hi Everyone,

I will be attempting to follow the instructions later this week after purchasing a ZGemma H2S, they look clear enough so don't envisage any problems.

Make sure you backup your line before you do anything pal. Then just follow instructions from post 1. Very easy. Will flash straight over sucmnsee.
 
hi there wonder if anyone can help i have put this on my box and all works except for openwebif i have put the port number in but no joy this was working before i installed this anyone know of correct settings for openwebif

i have
1252 401skysports news hq
its the 1252 number i want to disappear

Where are you looking?

Press the EPG button from full screen TV and then use the Prev & Next button to move through the channel bouquets - Movies, Sports Kids etc

If you press the TV button you will see the numbers you are speak of and as far as I know you can't get rid of them.
 
by the way great image so easy to flash
there not on the vix image its when you press the down button the list of channels is there with the number in
