by the way great image so easy to flash
there not on the vix image its when you press the down button the list of channels is there with the number in

Yeah that is the same as pressing the TV button.

Maybe someone can tell us how to remove them if it is possible on OpenATV.

Like I say though, use the EPG button and you get the real channel numbers - how it was made to look ;-)

next question when i goto back up settings it says the backup destination is not writable where do i set where the back up is to go

also got a error hardlink to timeshift file failed the file system on your timeshift does not support hardlink

whats a hardlink
also time-shift and recordings working fine
dont want to format it as i have used this drive for some time and has a lot of recordings on it

found backup destination

To check your timeshift settings:

Menu -> Setup -> Recording & Timeshift -> Timeshift -> Destination (top one) Select that and point it to the timeshift folder on your USB device and then save. WooshBuild configures this for you so not sure why you are having problems, but check anyway.

Did you backup your settings, flash and then restore settings?

Red button -> Softcam panel -> check the correct cam is loaded (CCcam 2.3.0 or mgcamd_1.38r1) and press the green button.

If you didn't backup your settings - ooops, reload the line using the USB Cam Importer, or restore your settings.

Are your channels working now?

Have you done what I suggested above with opening the softcam panel and checking the cam type and restarted it?

As per the help above, worst case is your put you line details on the box again using the USB Cam Importer.

I didn't know it did. Did anyone else?

You will need to turn off HDMI CEC, the downside is that you will then need to turn your TV off using your TV remote.

That was so easy thanks to the idiots guide I read through the guide 2 or 3 times before my box arrived today and had an initial play with the zgemma h2s but couldn't make head nor tail out of it running its virgin firmware. Followed the guide to the letter and whoopee box up and running with an epg that you would be hard pushed to notice it wasn't coming from my original sly box.:woohoo:

My daughter keeps asking me why the TV keeps coming on, so I assumed it was the various programmes I have set up to record - I will keep an eye out for it next time.

My daughter keeps asking me why the TV keeps coming on, so I assumed it was the various programmes I have set up to record - I will keep an eye out for it next time.

It will be the CrossEPG update. Change the time that it updates to something that doesn't disturb you. Or turn off HDMI CEC.

I posted destructions for changing the time somewhere in the last few, ten or so, pages.

As you know, I can't take any credit for how it looks, that is all down to Kiddac and his pixel perfect OCD with Skin making. As smityhsmudge said, it is hard, if possible without touching the remote to know the difference between Kiddac's Slyk HD skin and the real sly box skin.

Well took the plunge as the image I had on mine was old and when I tried update I broke everything, lucky I had backup. So thought I would try this and lol so easy the hardest part was watching it flash and waiting for it to finish.

Spoke to soon my bbc2 is on 101 and bbc1 is on 102 tried the fix but guess im doing something wrong.

Never mind when back and read the rest of the topic and found the answer on post 864 gave up to quickly :whistling:

Not sure why you are installing AuoBouquet E2 as everything is already installed, setup and ready to go. Or are you installing AutoBouquetMaker? If so you don't need to and it will also cause problems if you don't remove AB E2 first and also delete the bouquets from the box.

If you give me more details of what you are doing I can help more.

Again your post suggests you have setup something that is already setup. "Only setup 28 east at the mo" Did you set this up? If so why?

If it is a new line do you know it works?
Is it the correct line in the correct file? C: or N: goes in CCcam.cfg and CWS = goes in newcamd.list

i use motorised and am only on 28 east to get it running,i have been with my server for a very long time,i have put it in cc cam 2.30,i have ftp and seen them there,even redone them via ftp and restarted etc,i might delete cc cam later and start that again,copy ,paste etc
