Minor issue (I know me again) ;) I decided to to a bit of a clean up and slight restart now everything seems OK Except for some strange reason I have BBC Two HD on 101 and BBC One Scotland on 102 the BBC Channels are somehow mixed up

edit: Seen your post about a custom txt file but still not working

all sorted now, thanks. Its very strange. If you unzip it to the stick - DOESNT work. If you go inside the zip file and copy the files and paste - WORKS.

I presume you are Scotland looking at the BBC One Scot.

Here is the bit for you:

#swap local SD with HD Scottish East + South West
141=101
115=102
178=103
227=104
171=105

Replace the top part with that. I had a play the other day an selecting Scot East and Southwest, the above settings gave me BBC1 and 2 in the correct order.

OK now that's put BBC One back where it should be although 1 thing i've always noticed. Scottish West puts STV Edinburgh on 117 (when it should be STV Glasgow) but not going to grumble at least BBC back to normal

So add to your custom_swap.txt

STV Glasgow = 117

Where STV Glasgow is the current channel number, so if STV Glasgow is currently 200 on your epg, you would add 200 = 117 to the bottom of your list.

#swap local SD with HD Scottish East + South West
141=101
115=102
178=103
227=104
171=105
200 = 117

This will then swap STV Glasgow with STV
Edinburgh

I have a question and don't know whether it's the woosh build or standard zgemma issue but how do you watch interactive programs as usually you press the red button on bbc but this brings up a different menu?

Red button channels would be in a different bouquet. On mine for instance i think BBC red button is in other channel 980

Other red button features may be there under different bouquets, have a butchers and see what you can find :grin:

Cannot wait to give this a go. I am a newbie but seems like i can do it, great instructions. Thank you for this from a new member.

Many thanks for confirming. I just followed the instructions but can't get the box to say flsh. It always says boot and then loads into the open logo screen. I have tried 2+ usb sticks now? any ideas?
Format USB us a free programme called HDDguru (google it) use the low format option...then format it in Fat32

Fat32 using windows uptick the quick option box and format.....

That should say untick

I just wanted to say a BIG thanks to Wooshman for putting this guide together.
This is my first time using a Linux receiver, and my Zgemma H.2S came already setup with a Vix image on it, but I like to tinker, and so wanted to install an image myself. This guide made it a doddle, and I was up and working in about 10mins.
Great work Wooshman, I love it!!

Thanks for this, new to this type of box so its all a bit overwelming at the minute, come from a v8s which is relativley simple. If i manage to follow the guide am i right in thinking this includes the sky look and can anyone tell me if im ok using a 500g external hdd for recording as it doesnt have its own power supply, thanks

Yep, WooshBuild is as close to Sly+ as I can get it at the moment.

You will get people tell you that a USB HDD is not a good thing in the USB port for power. Personally I beg to differ and have been running my 320gb for 4 months without any issues so far. I have also tested the power consumption and on everyday running there is very little power draw on the Port and very rarely above 5v or 500ma

I would say do it, but it is up to you at he end of the day. I know others also run the USB HDD from the USB Power.

Thanks for the reply, all up and running, absolutley brilliant guide you have done there, thanks. Hdd working fine at the minute so fingers crossed! cheers

Will this H2H version work an H2S.

I'm struggling with one right now

WooshBuild comes in 3 flavours:

1. H2S
2. H2H
3. 2S

This thread is for the H2S but also includes instructions for the H2H. The instructions in post #1 are for the setup of the H2S, follow those and you will end up with the H2S build.

Unfortunately I didn't and apologise. I'm learning and should ask more questions.

Start a new thread Pau and I will be happy to help.

Followed these steps and it worked a treat!! So simple to do! Many thanks for the build and guide :)

One small issue, bbc2 is show as channel 101 and bb1 showing as channel 102. Any way to flick these around?

Yeah read the thread, it has been answered so so so many times

After some help with the series link function.
I find the program I want to record then press record, blue to add auto timer, but it doesn't seem to set the series link, then I press exit and a message comes up saying 16 events matched and 0 timers added? Not sure why it not adding auto timers?

apologies for the photo being rotated, uploaded using my iPhone

Search the forums first as Series link questions have been answered before. If you can't find anything, start a new thread including your photo and ask your question.

It isn't a WooshBuild issue / question but a generic OpenATV question.

I mo thoirm, you are your own worst enemy, I would have deleted hundreds of these posts as "thanks" posts piss me off. Send me a list and I'll do my usual, start with post 880 LOL

Hi I upgraded to 3.03 last week and tonight decided to do a routine software update. I pressed the blue button and selected 'Software Update'. 2 updates are offered and when I press green for update I get pop up warning 'Question ? - Your Image is out of date! etc etc Do you still want to update? no/yes' . This is the first time I've had this warning. Anybody else get this? Thanks
