WooshBuild v3.00 + USB Cam Transfer Plugin + BaseBuild - OpenATV 5.1

Wooshman.. Noticed the same kind of thing mentioned a couple of times so I thought I'd join in .. (Sorry if you've already given a definitive answer and I missed it).
Since updating to v3.03 my epg 'stutters' now and then .. Scrolling down channels or along bouquets seems to stop for a second then the yellow bar quickly jumps to the channel I scrolled to or the tabs quickly jump along.
Epg is saved to hdd and I realise the hdd access time is probably to blame but it didn't do it on earlier versions. Any ideas why it is on this build ?
Should I just change epg back to stored on flash and put it down to 'one of those things' or is there some kind of maintenance I should be doing on the hdd epg files?

The only thing which got done when updating to v3.03 was the following:

I flashed the vanilla WooshBuild v2.02
Corrected the custom_swap.txt file for the channel list in the AutoBouquet E2 folder
Updated IPTV player and KodiDirect
Ran the online updates just in case there were any, which there wasn't
created a complete backup and uploaded it to the Woosh server

No settings except the custom_swap.txt file were altered.

V3.01 had the EPG on internal memory son unless you changed it at some point I wonder if this is why you are seeing a difference in performance?
 
Hi, I currently only have one satellite feed for my new H2S box, and will not get a second one for some time yet. Can you please tell me which port I plug in to on the back of the box, and whether I follow Wooshman's install instructions as above or whether I need to do something different.

Bit new to this!! Thank You.

Wooshman.. I think I tinkered and set epg to save to hdd back in build 3.01 .. But it seemed to be ok in there and in 3.02.
I think I'll just backtrack my tinkering and put it back to save to flash if that's an ok thing to do ?

What and where are the timeshift and record settings? I've done something and no longer have live pause.

Found the settings I've replaced usb's with an HDD it can record but not pause, Suggestions please?

hi wooshman
i switch my box off at night time from power. its just me i turn most things off at night time.
when i switch it back on next day it loads fine and picture is ok, after about minute or so the picture goes blank for a second or so, after that its ok.
not sure if this is a glitch or not ??

No idea as I never turn my box completely off unless I really have to. I have not heard of this before though as turning your box off will stop it from doing updats for channels and the EPG so not many people do turn completely off. Apart from installing the nightly zgemma.tv OpenATV and trying it I am unable to tell you if it is a bug or not.

Personally, I do not recommend tuning your box completely off.

People say don't do it and CrossEPG also suggests against it if you have an alternate option but mine sat like it for ages before I moved mine over the the Micro SD Card.

And by the way .. where is cacheflush hidden?
Can I get to it the long way round or do I need to uninstall it and reinstall to stop it being hidden in plugins?
 
Nevermind.. Found it (long pressing blue button in case anyone else needed to know).
Also put an sd card in with epg directed there and no more 'stuttering' as of yet.

i,m stuck on step 7 getting c line in i,ve always used ftp manager i cant see how to copy my line to ccam files wont let me drag and drop there help please
 
If you don't already have a cccam.cfg file, create one using notepad and paste your line details into it.

Put a usb stick (normally the one you flashed BaseBuild with) into your computer and put your cccam.cfg file onto the stick.
Put your channel on Sky 1
Put the stick in the front of the box and run the USB Cam importer plugin.

I used cccam.cfg as the example as that is what you mentioned. It is the same method for newcamd.list

If windows does not know what to open these files with, tell it notepad.
Also, you may need to turn on "show known extensions" or turn if off, which ever it is. - Windows thing - google if needed.
 
Anyone else getting the 'loading' circle up the top left every 10 minutes or so? Seems to be since I've updated to this version... I've removed kodi to free up some space but still happening :(
 
Can anyone help...I have tried to update Wooshbuild online but i get an error message saying not enough space on hdd 300meg required I have a 32 gig USB in the back of the box with nothing on it so can't understand where I'm going wrong....any help appreciated thanks

What file format is the USB stick? What brand is it? If there is nothing on the stick format it in FAT32. See how you get on then
