Got my zgemma today after a little reading on this forum, bought a 1Tb hdd and followed wooshmans step by step guide which is pretty fool proof in my opinion give or take a few omissions that may confuse a total technophobe, just like to thank the wooshman on his great work worked first time round although I did have to flash from rear port but cam loaded no problem from front port? What's that all about?
Question
If you want to upgrade the "main usb" to higher capacity is it a straightforward initialisation / create swap file process or do you need a clean flash form start?

Hi I installed this yesterday on my box but I am now getting an error message after attempting to add a gift/line when trying to access the menu. Have you any idea how i can sort this please?

Copy the line in correct format onto a reformatted usb drive with nothing else on it.
Put in front usb connection and press green button .
Cam importer comes up and copies the line automatically providing the format is correct.
It gives a message confirming this.
 
Just a minor point about Changing Your Tv Region if your Scottish.....Glasgow is on the west coast and Edinburgh on the east coast but in AuotoBouquets they have swapped places lol so if you want STV Glasgow on you EPG choose Scottish East and vice versa for STV Edinburgh
 
In set up info it says preconfigured for 8gb drive. I'm about to set up another couple of boxes do I need to do anything different for a 16 or 128gb drive?

No..exactly the same procedure as for the 8gb setup you did.
Just highlight the appropriate USB when it shows.
 
Wooshman, I added an m3u folder into the KodiDirect directory for the m3uplayer plugin, just letting you know it works a treat with a decent IPTV .m3u service for 3pm games etc, not sure if its something you can or want to add in the image, it's dead simple to do but wonder if everyone is actually aware that you can stream your own m3u files or service.

Tell me to eff off for interfering by all means :)

hi, could you give me a little more info on this please? i was trying to do something similar but im new to zgemmas so wasnt to sure how. im used to kodi. i was actually talking to wooshman yesterday about the same thing and gave him an m3u list. is the list hosted locally or online?

That is something that is being looked into at present.
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated to see if it can be incorporated into a future build.
Please pm for contact details as Wooshman hates football so it's me that's pushing for this addition !!..lol
 
Just got a new H2S today from zgemma.co.uk total newbie to this so fingers crossed but the guide looks pretty straightforward.
 
You can add them yourself, +feeds > picons reboot and then +picons srp-full.400x240-370x210 light on transparent
 
All appeared to be going well brand new flash followed the steps and getting messages as described to the completion of step 4. Box restarted but when it came back on not getting the FTA picture or sound full EPG there anything I can check/look at that may fix. No issues with dish or feed as had a star plugged in this morning using same feeds just upgrading box, Thanks in advance
 
Volume is turned off after reflash so just turn volume button up.
You may need to reset your location via autobouquets and then run the nit scan/update to bring all of the channel list up to date.
 
Followed this guide to set up my first box .. first one ive done. Guide easy to follow .. Just want to say thank you :hurray:
