the files are on the box. I even FTP'd them to make sure. When i download the bootlogo it show my picture in iDreamX but doesnt show it no the box. I'll keep digging around

You can leave the USB from the 2s as it is. Skip initialise and swap steps as these are already done on the stick.

now when i continue to try and online flash...i get not enough free spacde on hdd exit plugin

Not a problem to fix it your end, just a pain that you will need to initialise the USB by the sounds of it.

I am guessing your are still at BaseBuild stage?

If so, leave the 2S usb in the back and restart the box.

Then start from initialise and swap file steps.

See what he stick is doing first though by putting it back in the 2S. I hope you still have stuff on there??!! If so don't initialise.

Wooshman ... Just downloading 3.01 but it says zgemma 2s FINAL ... This is the right build for H2S isn't it ?

Haha you make me laugh, but the only one to mention the missing step 5! Top of the class for alertness, bottom of the class for making new boxes up!
 
Hi there I've updated my box to the latest firmware how do I manually enter the plugin after saying no ?

What plugin are you trying to install? The plugins that were installed with v3 are still there. You only need to re-install plugins if you had added any additional ones?

But to add plugins manually:

Green Button -> Green button - > select your plugin to install.
 
Just got my zegmma h.2s box today and never flashed a box before, i found it very easy using the install instructions, Only bit i got stuck on was putting on the line, i was opening the newcamd.list file with notepad then renaming back to newcamd.list, thats what i was doing wrong lol had to put just newcamd now all is working, Thanks for your work woosh, benijo far, never see build v3.00 but v3.01 is looking good:smoke rings:

For an upgrade you only need to go from Step 4 of the instructions. All the groundwork has been done.

So is the USB stick in the back formatted on widows? And then initialised in the box? Or is it just windows formatted?

By formatting the stick you have wiped any data you had on it off. Settings backups, recordings.

If you can tell me what state your USB stick is in I can help you upgrade. Don't do anymore to the stick just yet.

im using this HDDGURU: HDD LLF Low Level Format Tool to format usb stick at moment so will report back soon.

OK no problem at all. Life gets in the way sometimes.

Once low level formatted, format to fat32 using windows.
Then into back of box, turn on and start from step 2.

Future updates then just start from step 4 which leave the USB intact and untouched.

Wooshman - Awesome build again, basebuild working well and flashes without issue so thanks for your endless tinkery - keep up the good work and by the way, is there any way i can use a micro.... only joking!:willy nilly:
