Just taken me less than an hour to set up zgemmh2s. got my trial line on first time. Superb guide. Cant thank wooshman enough. (im a 50 year old techno numpty) but had a go.

I saw there was a 3.1. Is there much point in me trying to update from 3 or should i do what my good lady has just said and leave the bloody thing alone now!

Thank you everyone for the feedback, it is always welcome - Likes and thanks are very welcome too.

As Beni has said, WooshBuild v3.01 BETA is available for flashing if you want to. It is basically as fix for TS media which seems to cause issues with V3.00. If you don't use or intend to use TS Media, v3.01 ha no advantage.

Please note IT IS A BETA and will have some missed bits. Once it leaves Beta it will be ready for general use.

I am also taking orders on which Auto Timers you would like adding as NCIS didn't seem that popular (Only Joking, no requests please as it won't happen)

Thanks Wooshman for making all this possible, H2S set up and running great. I have a couple of questions if that's ok ......

1. How can I install a second line to add some backup should one line go down. Do I just add via usb again or will it write over the line I have installed. Or would I edit the line file to include both lines? if so what should the format look like? should the line be a different type?

2. How do I delete old lines or test lines once installed?

3. Is there anywhere I can learn more about how and why the cam panel (and everything else for that matter) works the way it does etc. I like to know how things work and don't want to clog up field with noob questions.
Hope those questions make sense :)

Roooooodge you ask soooooo many questions lol

To add a second line simply add it to your existing file.

cccam.cfg

C: 172.16.1.1 12000 user1 pass1
C: 213.6.54.135 12460 user1 pass1

Then import again using the USB Cam importer plugin and it will replace your existing line.

To delete test lines, either replace the file with a full line or just USB cam import an empty cccam or newcamd file.

I don't know the answer to number 3 I am afraid. Start a new thread "Rooooooooooooooodge's Questions" and list them all. Those who know will answer. There are so many people on here make me look like an image builder against what they know.

Is your missus my missus? lmao.

No not really loveitblue, nothing new at the moment, just a couple of minor updates. So leave the bloody thing alone now! (Until the next time)

Wow great to see another build update fella the new auto build updater & being able to quick swap to BBC 1 & zap my channel history is a god send as far as the Ol' Ball & Chain is concerned ,will update my box at the weekend thanks again for the hard work you've put into your build pal

hi wooshman. i received my h2s today. but i am still waiting on my 2nd usb and a few little bits to arrive. anyway, i couldn't resist flashing it, and i have to say, the basebuild went on within minutes of taking the h2s out of the box. as soon as i get my second usb i will update this post with now i got on. thanks for all the work you put in and looking forward to getting my box running. hopefully today when the post arrives :)

----edit-----

so i got impatient waiting and used the 8gb usb to carry on the installation. i got through it really fast with no problems using the instructions you gave in the original post. thanks once again.

this is the first time i have used a sat box. i am used to kodi/android boxes/fire tv sticks, and i was really surprised how easy it was. all i have left to do is install my line :grin:

Hi Wooshman, decided to reflash today and managed to see and get the right picons exactly as you specified. Only thing is they only appear at the top LH corner of the epg screen. They are not showing top left above InfoBar when changing channels (as in V2.5). Just another slight detail before I did the feed and select picons xyz I noticed under picons the correct one was listed anyway. Do we need to select picon xyz under feed first? Many Thanks

Just in addition to yesterday I have checked that 'yes' is selected in the menu for show picons in infobar and restarted my box but still only get picons top LH of epg screen not above info bar when changing channels. Not a big deal just wondering whether anybody else has the same issue. Thanks

I am taking v3.01 out of beta later on. I will make sure your picons are on he info bar :-)

If you can't wait:

However you want to do it, navigate the file structure on your box to:

usr / share / enigma2 / slyk-1-hd

Open extras.xml and edit the following line:

<!-- infobar picons -->
<!-- 1 = Picons -->
<!-- 2 = No Picons (default)-->
<!-- edit both panels -->

<screen name="InfobarPicon" >
<panel name="InfobarPicon2" />
</screen>

To display:

<!-- infobar picons -->
<!-- 1 = Picons -->
<!-- 2 = No Picons (default)-->
<!-- edit both panels -->

<screen name="InfobarPicon" >
<panel name="InfobarPicon1" />
</screen>

save and restart your box.

I think.....

Thanks Wooshman, spot on, worked a treat. I even put the value of 1 in for the second info bar. What is the second info bar? Thinking ahead when upgrading do you simply hit the blue button then flash online and so on? Could you please outline the upgrade instructions? Cheers

Just moved over to this from vix and im very impressed so far fella! Top stuff ;)

Just two questions, is there anyway of seeing the ecm times on the channel your watching? I check mine quite a lot as im having glitching issues with the box ive got.

Secondly how do i use the Tabs on the epg guide at the top or are they just a visual thing?

Thats it so far. Keep up the good work pal.

Tabs are used by pressing the <Prev & Next> buttons

ECM stuff - yes there is. Unless someone can jump in and save me from doing the ground work to actually turn it on on my setup, I will have a play and see what settings do it.

Answers please on a postcard asap... thanks.

hi

excellent firmware again!. thanks in advance.

just reflashed my box with this. seems to be working fine at first but suddenly it starts lagging etc?

also it constantly says 'boot' on the box instead of the time. is this normal or have i just been unlucky with the firmware upload.

Yeah something not right there rollmesome for it to say boot on the screen all the time. Worth a re-flash.
