Hi all and thanks woosh for the build its AWESOME !!!!!! One question i have tho and that is should the epg location be set to internal flash or hdd ?
 
Thought so thanks woosh another problem i got is Im getting a message when recording saying writing error disk full about 10 mins into the recording im using a 300 gb*hard drive*which i have 299gb free.
 
Check the timeshift / recording location from the Menu -> Setup screen. Both of those need to be external drive too.

Yep, both of those are correct so nit sure why it is saying full.

The HDD was initialised on the box as per the detructions? Not saying you didn't but just trying to get a feel of what the problem could be

No partitions on the drive other than the one?
 
Worth an initialise again maybe?

You will have to turn timeshift off and disable the swap file before you can initialise though.
 
Got it sorted now woosh looks like the box didnt like the hdd i was using so i tried another hdd which i have and bingo works great :)
 
You Sir, are a genius. I'am using your other build on my 2S and have ordered a H2S, cannot wait to try this build on that when it arrives. Thank you for all your hard work.
 
Thanks Wooshman for making all this possible, H2S set up and running great. I have a couple of questions if that's ok ......

1. How can I install a second line to add some backup should one line go down. Do I just add via usb again or will it write over the line I have installed. Or would I edit the line file to include both lines? if so what should the format look like? should the line be a different type?

2. How do I delete old lines or test lines once installed?

3. Is there anywhere I can learn more about how and why the cam panel (and everything else for that matter) works the way it does etc. I like to know how things work and don't want to clog up field with noob questions.
Hope those questions make sense :)
 
Hi Wooshman, decided to reflash today and managed to see and get the right picons exactly as you specified. Only thing is they only appear at the top LH corner of the epg screen. They are not showing top left above InfoBar when changing channels (as in V2.5). Just another slight detail before I did the feed and select picons xyz I noticed under picons the correct one was listed anyway. Do we need to select picon xyz under feed first? Many Thanks
p.s Noticed V3.01 beta in the download list today.....
 
V3.01 is in the downloads as a Beta version.
It has been tested and is fully working for anybody to download it.
There are a couple of minor tweaks that Wooshman is doing but these will be automatically downloaded when you next reflash.
