Change tv region- Flashed twice now and only 2 hiccups. Step 6 on ab it only shows meridian, no list of regions. On channel list cannot get ch 5. Otherwise very straight forward and easy. Now I'm going to put my line in, this part I'm worried about , well see. CHEERS WOOSHMAN

Press green button/autobouquets e2/ok/screen comes up then press menu and use the arrow key to change the local area selection.
Exit back one screen and press start to do a nit scan and ch5 hd will be in the updated list.
 
Problems with line - This is where I need more computer skills. Have cws line , opened newcam shows 1 file cam-files. Highlighted the cws line in email, copy, tried to paste it in opened newcam file but paste is not an option. This is where I need the ultimate idiots guide. Any suggestions welcome. CHEERS

Thank you all for your quick responses. Region done and it was simple. Performed the nit scan twice and the only free ch missing is 5.
 
I think the problem might be how I open Wooshmans cam files. It opens in WinRAR. Newcamd file is there, view this - another box view newcamd opens - says put your cws details below line. Just cant seem to paste the line over from my email even though I have pressed copy. Proper annoying me
 
I purchased my Zgemma H2S last week, it came with openvix Blue HD by rossi200 & simonsez. Being a total newbie I went and did a software update which started causing me all kinds of problems and incorrect settings. I couldn't even do an image back up so this was a brave move for me.

I read this guide thoroughly before even attempting to flash my box. I'm going to say (due to the guide) it was easy and fast took me 15-20 mins to set up, however maybe another 30 mins to work out the CCcam.cfg & newcamd.list. Once I had worked out how to paste and save the keys correctly the USB cam importer did its job and all channels came online.

I am delighted with this build, thank you for this guide and your hard efforts which made this an enjoyable Sunday afternoon.
 
Massive respect to woosh, set it all up fairly straight forward brilliant instructions very clear, @ kiddac your skin is sick my friend i was using blue hd first and thought that was good but yours puts it in the pisser, and whoosh genius move with the online updates, don!

Strangely i am problems with my line,

i normally do flash xp and ftp over, but did the usb way instead, copied my cfg file over ovbiously putting the line in via notepad first, on the usb and then the box put it on sly1

got the flicker as per instruction on the plugin but no pic, strange, i know for sure my line is cool

so went to the cams and it was on newcam i got a n so new it had to be on ccam so i changed it restarted cam and still nothing,

I normally know what i am doing, but unfortunately this time i am stuck,

Any idea whats i am doing wrong guys,

old usb 2.0 trustworthy worked with the boot fine, used the same usb, just dont get it?

Firecburn...the line file once copied onto the usb flashes from the front port.
Try reformatting the usb and putting that file on it's own in front port and the usb cam importer does it for you.
The file must be either in cccam.cfg or newcamd.list format.

I did originally put it in the front usb slot but I did have the Zgemma folder still on the stick

It's defo write format and whoosh made it so easy he's already got the right file name so I just needed to pop my line in which I did

I shall delete all the boots files and just leave the cfg file and try with that

With the line file only on the USB and tv on full screen then press green button.
If file is in correct format it will load automatically.
Go into softcam panels (red button) and make sure cam either 1.38r or maybe 2.3 is active and press green button to start.
Go to sky1 and it should work.
 
I was an existing user of version V2.5 and just upgraded to V3 with no problems. Restored settings at the end so my line was up and working fine. Just noticed no picons though, so went through your instructions from post #69. At the moment cant seem to get or see srp-full.400x240-370x210.light.on.transparent. I have noticed my original picons from V2.5 are on my USB storage hdd in the back. Is there a way of easily pointing to and using this folder rather than downloading and saving again? Many Thanks

but now im getting no sound lol, will tinker about try a reboot prob minor,

The SRP is there as I just checked, but any SRP will do.

I am looking through my box at the moment to see if I can find where the ref to picon actually is. If I find anything I will let you know but don't hold your breath as I am not finding much at the moment.

to be honest, whatever I do to my box, the system always finds my picons. I am just reading through the code to see what / where the box searches.

UPDATE: It looks to me like the box search all mounted locations looking for the folder called "picon" Have you restarted your box to see if it locates them?

Downloaded TSMEDIA plugin to try it and it has corrupted my box !!!!!!
Didn't work and crashed so I rebooted and tried to delete the addon.
Took three attempts to delete and now the box runs for about 30 seconds then glitches for 3/4 seconds.
This is on FTA and scrambled channels.
Update !!!
Seems that having to turn power off when the box hung caused a problem in the box power supply.
Connected to another supply lead and box was then ok.

The flash install resets the volume button to zero so should just be a case of turning it up.

Yes but you cheated part way through and used software not available to us minions !!!...lol
