Wow £10 for a 500gb usb stick sorry but it's definitely a fake depending on how much you want to record use a branded usb stick Kingston are good or if you want more memory use a hard drive. See if you can send it back or chuck it in the bin

You can always re-flash your box in 10 minutes - see post #91 for the 3 steps required to do it.

If you don't want to do that can you tell me what steps you have taken to try and resolve this? What happens when you scan using Autobouquet E2 and CrossEPG?
 
Hi done this in 10 min very nice but a few questions
1 a totally fresh install went perfecto do you need to do crossepg configure and download also i downloaded picons feed and the picons itself and rebooted but no picons showing and all timeshift and recordings all ready to go with usb drive in the rear

You can do a channel scan and a crossepg scan whch will refresh it. I posted yesterday about removing the picons installed and trying again, I am not sure why it doesn't always work for people, check that you choose srp picons and select the usb for storage. You can also try a system update at that is now refreshing my picons.

On a whole the image is fully configured except for the tv region. Channel scan and epg are set to auto update at 4am and 4:35 am every day.

I am thinking about putting picons in the build somewhere but not to sue yet.

done all that twice picons still not showing im thinkg the majority must like the picons

its weird seems to take a hell of a long time installing the picons

Would like to say a massive thanks and a blue Peter badge for Wooshmans V3 build. Like many have gone on about reading instructions thoroughly and to no prevail have a useless box. I must have read through your guide 50 billion times and then once more and nailed flashing and setting up in about 15 mins.

I did get some problems with the USB and managed to flash with my phone acting as the USB. Don't know how I managed that as I'm no techwizz but I successfully have two working boxes one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I've even setup one to connect with another TV in our dining room and another with my little boys wii in his room.

What can I say but all in all a very happy household and a big thanks to you Wooshmans for the build and kiddacs skin.

how did you get the zgemma to connect with tv in another room as this would be ideal formy bedroom . if you don't mind sharing the knowledge thanks
 
Something strange happened tonight. I noticed my box was recording but I have never set it to record using timer or auto timer. It was recording NCIS and also geared up to record Eastenders. What could have caused this anomaly?

OOps..you found the backdoor entrance to wooshbuild..lmao
It has been rectified now in the latest backup.
 
Yes,,,the latest version has deleted the settings or you can delete them manually.
Slight oversight on the testing process that got missed !
 
Oh right ok. I have already deleted the 2 timers so that should do it then. There are no other updates I should know about then?

No important ones at present but wise to update the build at least once a week to make sure everything is for the latest version.
