Still to tweak , I mainly use my boxes for sport, should I stick with 28 19 13.
Any one know what the broadcasters are doing next season , is it the same . Footy mainly

Sky de icam is as good as any
Cannal sports is decent on 13 east no English

You will need to set a DISEqC 1.0 command for every satellite including the ones using the motor, if you follow the diagram above. So if the lnb on the motor is connected to port A set that for every motor sat etc.

I've seen guides and setups for setting up motorised and fixed on E2 receivers, how do I do this on a GT media

Hi mate on your setup is it a E2 receiver or Viark/ GT , only option I see in installation menu , is allows me to select lnb1 to 4 no option to select a command as in my Xtrend

I see in the thread it was mentioned someone did this with a viark on another forum

Use the lnb 1-4 options. So if 28.2 is connected to port 4 on the switch, set to LNB 4.

Change motor to none for the sats using the zone 2.

On the GT do I leave all sats as motor except 28.2 19.2 13.0
Ports and lnb now set to match

New Bullet lnb coming tomorrow so will hopefully be able to peak SNR a bit more and finish off tomorrow.

As asked before when I use the both the switch and the motor , on the GT media I assume when selecting the 3 sats the signal can only come from the zone 2 .

If im reading this correctly, then yes.

So select A B C for 28 19 and 13.

Yeah it's all working I only did one switch to as it required less cabling .

For some reason lnb 1 doesn't get a signal, swapped over , tried all combos, only selecting lnb 2 3 4 then set on the receiver B C D works .

The other switch getting done today, involve the GT motor and the zone 2

Not done that switch yet required more cabling. Doing it later.

Is was the switch connected to the xtrend I couldn't get an output on lnb 1

I don't have a diseqc motor, my setup is 36v so uses a v-box., hence saying I am not an expert, however with my v-box I have it wired as per my diagram (obviously the v-box is in place of the motor in the diagram).

Yes, I have been doing it that way, works just fine.

They could. But they can blow without a motor too lol. If you do it the way cokeaddict did in his diagram, then you stop the current passing through the motor when you're not using it.

After do this another day now , fudging RM

Disappointed tbh got the smart bullet lnb got slightly closer to the other lnb but SNR actually dropped on all TP , the GM 202+ gives a better SNR .

Obviously different combo work better , dish , receiver, lnb ,

I've tried various different combo , 2 bullets GM 202+ and the sky twin lnb Gladstones sent me ,
Sly lnb on 28.2
Bullet 19.2 (c)
GM 202+ 13.0
is the best SNR on all 3.
As said annoyingly the extra bullet didn't increased SNR.
The centre lnb is used to hold the triax bar in place , I even tested this in front and behind was actually worse in front.



I've seen other setups etc and the rail goes underneath, the lnb goes on top.


Is it possible, to put the "rail" UNDER the necks of the LNBs or
Is there an other way to modify the MK4 holder or replace it with something else as the screw gets in the way too

Or I'm I barking down the route of a DIY made rail like William-1 his is the top of 2 shown
