Triax multiblock lnb holder

Technomate multi lnb holder arrived, bullet lnb and diseqC switch tomorrow.

What's the Best way to attach this to a Zone 2 arm

with great difficulty. its for a non sky dish, and usually triax as the black bit fits the lnb arm.

look at the pic in the first post and you will see what i mean.

I use this on my zone 2, and get 19.2e and 28e perfectly.

The holders are thin enough to allow enough space for 19.2 and 28e - haven’t tried it with 13e yet.

he was told not to use that flat bar:unsure: but cokeaddict has used the technomate/triax on zone 2 and it looks like a DIY but if it works then job done.

Put the lnb on the zone2 dish as normal, then Put 3 of the lnb holders on the multilnb rail, use the middle one, to go onto the lnb on the minidish and align the dish on 19.2e.

Then put the 13e lnb to the left of it (looking from behind the dish) and the 28.2e lnb to the right.

Thanks guys I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow, so the only thing I can see is by not using the proper techno centre holder I lose the ability of x /y axis slope. Will this cause any issues.

The traix multisat bracket is designed with a
Tilt + and - value .There is even a measurement
Table what to measure from the centre to the
edge off each l.n.b holder. If you follow the
Guide i set up three years ago .There is pictures
Off the bracket marked out

You will run into all sorts of problems
If you cant achieve the proper tilt with the sn.r
On all your transponders

Some installers use 13east as the prime focus
l.n.b and some use 19 east .19 east is a high
Responsive transponder compared to 13 east

I'll probably be able to see once it's all up and what space is left between them , but if I was to get all bullet lnb at some point, do I have any chance of getting either 23.5 or 16.0 ,

16e, none to slim at best, 23.5e maybe if you used bullets for all lnb's

Looking at the satellite dish face on
From right to left 13 19 23.5 28 .I had to modify
The center screw to allow the l.n.b holder to move up tight enough to get 23.5

Weather naff today , lnb arrived but still waiting for the switch , going to have a go tomorrow weather wise, I'll set the switch up later on

I'll try the centre lnb on both 13 and ,19 see which gives the better result .

Now do you guys use the settings dish pointer suggest for elevation and skew.

Or just as a starting point and tweak

Doubt you will get away with having the dish aligned on 13E due to the weight of the 2 lnb's and the arm that will then be hanging off it and also being higher up.

Use the dish pointer settings as a starting point and just tweak it until you get the best signal on all 3 sats.
