Broadband Retentions leaving Virgin question - Price increase

We are on project lightening from virgin where their box on the incoming line has to be powered up. This would just be the same i assume.
What is the size of cable that comes out of youfibre box where it comes out of the wall to the router. The reason i ask is that i have the virgin coax running under the floorboards and comes up where the master socket is, its going to be a struggle to get new cables under as we have changed the house around.

It's thinner than the Virgin Coax more in line thickness wise to one side of the shotgun type cable.

Sorry for all the questions, the current wall external where the VM cabling comes in the wall all needs re-plastering and the wall socket is about 1m to the left . Ideally would have like the Ont on this wall but currently not using the sockets, what's the length of the Ont DC Power cable.

So the fibre cable into the house will be about 3m and Ont box will have to be on a central wall to the next closest socket .

This is my cable on the inside first pic then they ran the cable behind my tv and mounted the ont box near to a socket. IMG_5618.jpegIMG_5619.jpeg

How far then is the router

Just not decided what's best a load of fibre optic running the length of the house or ethernet, ethernet easy to replace though if any problems
Then the I have about 2.5 metres of fibre cables running to ont box behind tv.
Then router is sat on my sub woofer next to tv.
The fibre cable is a similar thickness to an Ethernet cable and is shielded.

Does the length of the fibre in the house have any barring in signal , speed , , he said ideally the Ont should go on the external wall where the wire come in , said it will reduce speed if we have it running a long length, it's about a 3m run

They just want to fit it in the easiest location for them.

Cable comes through the wall into the room, fit ONT next to the hole where the cable comes in, then job done (for me it was perfect to do that).

Your speed not affected with a 2.5m run
I wouldn’t have thought so as it’s only 2.5
Ethernet cables only really affect speed when they start to get over 100m. But I don’t know how true that is as I have never used a cable that length.
Fibre-optic cables are a lot faster at transmitting data than copper ethernet cables as well.
Here’s my WiFi speeds.
I am in Yorkshire, and that is connected to a London server
