Broadband Retentions leaving Virgin question - Price increase

Hmm not sure what to do, was about to sign up to Voda and get the £75 reward, but can't find any info about if they use CGNAT or if they offer Static IP.

Now just to confuse things even more, I just signed into my Virgin account and they are offering me renewal at my current price (obviously goes up by CPI + 3.9% in April) but I think that would be lower than the £3 increase that Voda will go up by, last week they were offering me my current package (1gig volted from 512mb, even though I am no longer an 02 customer) with 5% off but that was still more than the current price i'm paying.

So don't know if I should stick or twist now.

It's Black friday week this week and next. If you can get voda full fibre then you must be able to get the rest of the fibre to the premises deals. 🍻 :sneaky:

My street has been upgraded in the last month, virgins had the monopoly for about the last 5 years but bt and going at it big style throughout the village. We can get upto 1.6bg now in the street via bt. Its all underground as well.

I've been stuck with virgin for 25 years, as they were the only company in the area offering anything half decent until recently.

So i've only ever had dialup and then broadband via cable.

Started with virgin (well whatever they were called way back when), on 512kb, then every few years it doubled to 1mb, 2mb, 4mb, 10mb, 50mb, 100mb, 200mb, 350mb, 500mb then 1gig

Exactly the same for my area mate rarely got a deal as they knew id no where to go, so Virgin will be getting the middle finger at the earliest opportunity
