Broadband Retentions leaving Virgin question - Price increase

The thing is which is a bit sneaky say for example you are on 200mb broadband @ £28.00 but its discounted from £55 do they take the inflation rate rise on £55.00 so if inflation is still high approx 10% and then they add 3.75% on top. it could be approx £7.50 on top.

Its the same with mortgages, you spend all that time working out what they will allow you to borrow because its what they believe you can afford to pay back and what they think they will definitely get back, only for some peoples mortgages to have doubled in the last year

Update , last month at the time they couldn't get the new bill correct so we gave notice to disconnect , same day Complaints rang and sorted it out. Cancel disconnection , correct bill. Fast forward 1 month to the day ,anyone like to guess what happened on Sunday.

they screwed it up again and they will continue to do it every month now for about 12 months

You'd be better off talking to the fridge, I've never known a company that's so bad at sorting out their own mistakes.

They disconnected us , some tool forgot to a cancel the request

Contacted them and all they said was can't see the deal we were on and only the disconnection . Been reactivated but now trying to get them to re-honour the £20 deal

Utter shambles

Kick in the teeth for new Virgin customers. They've withdrawn the inclusive TNT Sport and Multiroom box on higher packages, both of which now require an additional subscription, and their top packages now only come with 516Mbps broadband instead of 1Gbps.

Same price as before but with much less value for money.

If only there was some way of circumventing their excessive charges, I'll have dig around and see if there's an alternative
