Does it get to L097 before restarting? If so, it means that you have flashed the wrong firmware.

There are clone & genuine F5 boxes around, so you need to make sure that you flash the firmware appropriate to your box.

Genuine firmware skybox.cc

Clone firmware hddvbsw.com

It goes up until L100 and then restarting. I've used both the firmware from skybox.cc and hddvbsw.com

Load the load again is called looping and is usually caused by a dodgy psu---many users have found that swapping the psu and flahing the nov 2013 f/w usually cures the looping problem. So try beg/steal/borrow/buy a psu and see if it works.
Reaper.

Also try booting the box with the LNB cable removed. There may be a short circuit in the LNB cable/plug.

I didn't boot the box with LNB. Only box and power adapter

Yep. PSU (power supply unit) is the power adapter/mains adapter.

If you try another one, make sure it's 12v with +ve to centre pin, & 2A or more.

thanks mate. will try to find the power adapter.

Just an update for my box, sometimes it will work after few rounds of restarting. So its maybe due to power adapter failure coz I'm using this box for almost 2 years.

I have an openbox v8s that's stuck on load, after trying to update channel list. I have an rs232 via usb cable. I have tried all erom update tools but when I run and select required v8 upgrade and push next, I rather get stb memory error or done appears and does nothing afterwards. I have waited to turn on box at different timings after selecting next and no difference it just states done and again nothing happens. my openbox stays on load and all lights flash when connected to internet through Ethernet cable, I have aslo tried with lnb connected and disconnected.
do I need a new box or can this be fixed

What channel list are you using ??

If AJs then try using CWAITE channel list.
