When you get the message "Reset Target" then you power up the box and the word done appears in top right corner.
Now wait and another screen should appear [not on all erom tools] click on run and download should start. On the no 2nd screen erom tool, the download will start auto-----if all ok.

Not very successful but I have manage to revive a few---you need to start with the SB.abs firmware and if it works then try to update with next file and so on until you install the latest.[Hope you have plenty of patience]

hi can you fix F5s box with red light and Dim 8 i bought the female to female cable and have tried all above still getting no-one is it no good hellpppppp blonde lady haha:bye:

I would just like to send a massive thank you to the reaper for fixing my box excellent service sent first class on monday and had my box back by Thursday fixed and ready to go all I had to do was reinstall my line so for any of you that are ripping your hair out with your box the reaper is the man! If you flash with cable you don't always lose the line if it revives.
But this is why we always recommend that you keep a copy of your line when you first get it.

got the dim 8 on my box after an firmware upgrade ,is it possible i used the wrong firmware???

Either firmware or using an unformatted key or even a dodgy psu.

Cheers reaper I have only had the box 2 days and have not made a backup of line. is there anyway careful way of rebooting have got my null rs232 coming tomorrow

If not working after just 2 days then contact the seller and get an exchange. Don't muck with the unknown.

All sorted booted up first time with upgrade via null modem.Also managed to keep CCcam :yes!: . Made a backup of that now as advised by the reaper. Glad i brought cable now just in case the problem arises again .

Hi mate tried loads of s box f5s firmware and different upgrade tools still no joy box still keeps saying LOAD is there anything more I can try
