My ABM is finding nothing??! When I perform a service scan, I find 222 channels including the usual film 4 bbc1 etc. When I go to epg I have nothing. When I scan with ABM it says there is a tuner issue and it doesnt search.

What am I doing wrong. This was so much easier when I had a sky line.

Sky line will make no difference to freeview channels they will be the same as before. EPG is nothing to do with ABM use the epg importer plugin.

Are you using an aerial or a sat dish?
If using an aerial the epg populates automatically. Set the dvb/t tuner to your area/nearest transmitter.

For freesat you set the dvbs tuner to your region.

This is in tuner configuration.
In abm the provider settings should be already set

Yes. I now have channels but my EPG isnt working properly. The person I bought from is sending me some stuff to sort it out so it should all be good from here.

how is this person sending you stuff to sort out epg , epg is freely available via satellite and freeview or are you referring to iptv ?

When you perform a manual scan, (single satellite) you should get about 800 channels. If you are getting ~200, something is wrong. Are you sure you don't have a wideband LNB for SkyQ?

Hes sending the original backups so I dont have to mess about with it all again. Just have to change the location to my area and rescan.

Freeview has its own epg, you don't need to do anything.
Plug tv aerial into enigma2, scan for channels and epg is fully populated.

What do you mean by EPG? The Synopsis or groups of channels (bouquets)?

In one of the enigma2 menus, there is an option to ignore network id in namespace. Change it so that it does not ignore the namespace. You are probably receiving from two masts and there is a clash. Allowing the network ID in namespace will ensure that the channels are unique.

Go into ABM and delete the ABM bouquets then forget ABM for now. Install Terrestrial scan plugin and let it scan and create bouquets for you. Hopefully that will resolve the issue.
