Anyone any ideas why my picons arent working? They are on my USB stick, oddly if I flash Vix they are shown, even stock OpenATV they appear

Open plugins then the red button to remove plugins. Select Picons and remove any that are in the list.

Once done, follow these instructions

i havent got the latest latest version
got the version before the usb thing, how do iknow if ihave latest image? where do i need to go to check and update the software?

Menu -> Information -> About

Look under the Slyk logo.

hi bud will this work to sort a star 2s from keep freezing running vix has it keeps needing to be powered of at the back and rebooted was ok at first but keeps doing this every time now HELP

this build sounds great the box is doing my head in keep freezing

Just a reflash of Vix may solve your problem, but if you want to try WooshBuild go for it. Only one way to find out.

Have you tried the instructions HERE (older version of the woosh instructions with picon detail) ... scroll down to the picon section works a treat for me

I'm having problems getting the box to flash, it just wont do it this time. I've done it before on my brothers box and just can't get my head around it this time.

I downloaded the wooshbuild 2s file and put the zgemma folder on a formatted usb stick (actually 2 sticks were tried) this is right isn't it?
maybe there is a setting in the box to disable boot from USB? the box will recognize the USB in front and rear slots afterwards but not on boot

any ideas where I'm going wrong this time? and tips are really apreciated

I know this has most probably been asked a thousand time before and don't want an answer here but can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to remove and possibly add things in iptv please I can't find one for the life of me!

having a problem upgrading to latest version ive followed instructions on how to upgrade online but when it gets to the end of flash it says
Error flashing rootfs system wont boot! please flash backup! rebooting in 60 seconds

If you have both newcamd.list and cccam.cfg on your USB stick, remove the one you don't need and try the USB Cam Importer again. By default it looks for newcamd.list first and if it is found it will copy it.

If you only have one of the files above, go into softcam panel and check that the cam is correct for the type of line you have.

Red button -> softcam panel -> Cam 1
If your line details are in cccam.cfg this needs to be set to CCcam 2.3.0
If you line details are in newcamd.list, Cam 1 needs to be mgcamd_1.38r1

Once done, press the green button to restart the cam.
Check channel Sly 1

Hi i have gone thru all that with no joy..the line was working before i done this new upgrade but not working any more..i went into ccam info i could see the line details but the the premium channels are not working..

The upgrade won't have done anything to your line. The other thing to try is to remove anything that is in the usr/keys folder using Dream Explorer from within plugins, but don't delete the mg_cfg file, that needs to stay there. Then you can use Dream Explorer to copy the file from USB to usr/key an restart the cam.

Did you copy and paste the line details or is it the same file from the old setup?

This is a new one so am stabbing in the dark but personally I would download the latest nightly build from zgemma.tv for your box: http://images2.mynonpublic.com/openatv/current/zgemmas2s/openatv-5.3-zgemmas2s-20160510_usb.zip and flash with that. You will need to extract the contents of the zip to a USB. Also, when your box says USB on the front screen, press the ittle power button once to make it change to FLSH.

If that works, start WooshBuild from scratch using BaseBuild again.

Remember to backup your settings first before you start anything (if you haven't already) and DO NOT initialise your USB at any point. In fact, remove it while you do the Nightly build, then once you have flashed BaseBuild, then insert the USB when the instructions tell you to, BUT DON'T initialise your USB stick which has your settings on.

Let us know how you get on.

ive followed your instructions that you sent me still same error coming up when flashing but if I flash the nightly build it all flashes ok and no problems but as soon as I try the wooshman v3.03 build I get the error

Just wanted to say thank you to Wooshman, followed your guide and on my first box too, im up and running with basic FTA, got my NAS shares mounted and just waiting on getting a test Line to complete the TV side of things, next is to work out how to get movie streaming from other services, sadly cant stream to my kodi box as its a custom open elec build and does not have the VU+ PVR, but streams just great to my Samsung tablet :)

Just doing a backup now... decided to use a 250gb usb HDD instead of a USB drive for EPG and recordings... plenty of space.

hi, do i use version 3.01 or 3.03 for the s2 I'm about to do this but really worried, never done it before and am scared ill end up breaking the box
