Managed to update, unmounted and remounted hard drive and created a new swap file. Thank you both for your help. The only thing to sort now is the BBC issue. Although I thought this new update fixed the issue?

It depends where you live.

If you are not using an English Area you still (for the time being) still need to swap the channels manually. I am looking into a solution for this.

use a ftp client such as FileZilla to backup his line

Or use Dream Explorer which is installed already on the box. Chuck in a USB stcik in the front port and copy the file over from usr/keys to the USB

Brilliant build. Everything smooth except one little problem. Probably just me being pedantic. But when i record or use timeshift the little blue spinner/progress circle pops up every 2 mins. I know its a petty thing but I am easily annoyed. Is there any way I can stop this from happening?

Change the USB stick for a faster one or use a HDD, turn off timeshift, change the cache flush time from 5 minutes. This isn't a build thing but normally a USB speed thing. By reducing the number of things using the USB or swapping it for a faster one or HDD also helps.

I have an old vix build on my star 2s atm with a 1tb hdd attached, I have been having issues for weeks now (wooshman tried to help with my earlier missing plugin thread) so I am planning on trying this, but I have recordings on the hdd that I don't want to lose, also I read that cross epg should be on the usb/hdd once flashed can i plug the hdd back without any issues or are there any extra steps needed.. thanks
