Love the build have it on both boxes but looking a little bit of help. I am upgrading from my star 2S but giving this box to a family member but how do I delete the line details before handing over.
 
Any idea how i find that? I took the easy option and loaded originally using the USB loading option.

thanks for this, had my box running fine for over 12 months without a glitch until this past week. forgot how to flash, add lines etc. thanks again much appreciated
 
Thanks Wooshman one of the easy builds I've ever used and excellent tutorial, the people who moan need a sly subscription as i can't imagine the work you put in to a quality FREE service. My Thanks Scubyo:)

Yes mate that will work to, I just read it quite literally as delete as I struggle with that gray area which is the bit you saw :-)

That is the good thing about this place, so many different ways and everyone do things differently.

Standard Icons? Picons? As in the the channel logos? The destructions are somewhere

Green button -> Green button -> +Feeds and install

Exit back to tv

Green button -> Green button -> Picons -> srp 320 x 270 transparent

But have a read though the instructions in here or the H2S thread as there are in one of them.
 
Hi! I'm trying to update to the latest version but when. Press the green button to flash online the following blue screen message appears We're really sorry your receiver encountered a software problem and needs to be restarted
Any help would be appreciated

Sorry guys but just tested on mine and working no problem at all here. I am sure Beni will try and give feedback too. Others have also done it without issue.

What happens if you press the yellow button for local?
 
I have just run a settings back up then flashed online to the server and all ran without any problem.
Please try again and if still having problems then post some screenshots for us to investigate ?

Yellow does the same as green. How do I put a picture on? Forgot to mention that I can't back up either. When I try back up it says destination not writeable
 
beano4444....it sounds like your usb/hdd is not working correctly ?
Try a different one and run procedures again for initialise and swap file.
If it then does a back up then it will probably flash as well.
 
yes you will but you could try using the network connection to move them off the hdd if it can see them and put them onto the computer ?
 
I was really struggling to set up my box for the first time until I found this guide. Thanks was very helpful and not as complicated as other tutorials I have looked at👍
