If I select backup willobuild, is auto flashes boot partition 1 correct?

You can only flash slot 2 from USB afair.
Image manager always flashes slot 1, whatever you put in as target partition.
Multiboot is different on ET8500 compared to modern boxes.

yeah thats good as willobuild /vix is on slot 1


edit: reflashed vix full backup from openATV , then installed willobuild and restored my most recent settings all back again

I tell a lie. Image Manager does give you the option to flash slot 2.
Whether it works or not, I'm not sure.
