Yep. I’ve tried multiple times. Just tried formatting with quick format off and still the same. It blinks flash very quickly and immediately goes back to boot. All my other drives are larger than 8gb.

So it no longer fails if the tuner was on a stream relay channel when ABM runs . Good

Just tested this,
I selected Sky One on 19.2 (this would be using my tuner B), I ran ABM, it worked fine for 28.2
I then set ITV 1 HD to play with stream relay, changed channel and selected ITV 1 HD to ensure it was "streaming", this occupied my Tuner A. I then ran ABM again, it used tuner B and and worked fine for 28.2.

Maybe the ABM issues can be in their specific posts.

Format one of your other usb and try that

I used to swear by this program for formatting USB drives properly and restoring the bootable flag.
It doesn't work for me on Windows 11 now but give it a try.

Just done it again with the 6.7 recovery and it seems to have worked. Thanks for your patience

HDD Guru takes some beating. Low level format then fat 32 has only ever failed me once

I think I’ve cooked it. The hdd had in mounted again by the time I got home so found a usb stick and mounted that and ran the willow script on slot 1 and changed over when it was doing its thing to slot one. Now it’s stuck on boot and won’t do anything.

It's very difficult to brick an E2 box these days, but I did think you had thought of a way of doing it when I read this!

bootice deletes all the partitions and starts from scratch. Also good for backing up boot sectors etc.

😂😂. I thought I’d made a door stop. I’ve ordered another hdd. As I can’t get anything to mount at the moment.

Right. I got a small usb stick to mount and run the willow script but it’s just come back to the vix screen as it did after the usb flash. How do I get willobuild back on it

I’m at a loss. Each time I run ABM it gives me different channels. It’s been perfect for ages. Sometimes I’ve got nearly all the channels. I run it again and I might have 5 in total. I’m tempted just to buy a new box.

Please try a different PSU as suggested by someone else (pabloescaban) earlier. A failing PSU will not provide sufficient current under load. A tuner being activated is among highest drains on the power. A HDD spinning up is also a drain.

Unless your new HDD has it's own power supply, or it's not mechanical , you are unlikely to see any improvement in the mounting issue if the PSU is at fault.
