WilloBuild WilloBuild OpenViX 6.6 Series

I'm quite happy with FTA channels on sat and IPTV streams in my bouquets.
Can't imagine faffing about with an IPTV box to watch FTA telly.
Also happy with SD documentaries. Most of them were made in SD anyway.

I've downloaded your build and have got my IPTV and sat both running, is there an addon to make the bouquets like yours or have you done that manually?

If your supplier has given you the m3u you can use any iptv plugin on the E2 (Jedi maker xtream) is a good plugin I use to use it on my zgemma box and it was really easy to use.

Used to be the best plugin when I used I’m not sure about now.

Thanks. Tried tonight. Copied formuler1 to the Fat32 formatted USB plugged in as my E-drive. Turned off sat box, put USB stick in the back, powered it on, says Formuler on the front screen as normal, pressed the remote power button and the red light appeared to right of the front display, still there 10 minutes later. More trouble sorting later... I have a feeling I'll never be able ti sue this box again :-(
I'm back here 5 or 6 months after my satellite box being turned off. To summarise, it stopped booting and hangs on the OpenVIX/Williobuild initial screen. The suggestion was to flash with plain ViX. I have plugged a Fat32 formatted Sandisk USB stick into the back with the formuler1 directory unzipped onto it. When I restart the formuler F1 box it does not pick up the new image to boot and still shows the OpenVIX/Williobuild logo.

Any ideas if it's possible to progress from here?

Try preparing the flash drive with this utility and then extract the flash file to the drive and try again.

Thanks! I used bootice and followed the instructions pdf. I then downloaded openvix-6.6.005.release-formuler1_usb.zip and extracted it to my USB on the E drive, the contents showed as follows when complete:

  1. I put the SanDisk USB stick in the back of the formuler f1.
  2. I turned on the power switch. the front of the unit shows formuler on the screen, then booting, then it shows the OpenVix Logo with WilloBuild underneath and hangs on that 🤔

Low level format the stick with HDD Guru then fat32 that should work.

You should extract the zip and copy the formuler1 folder to the stick.

Cheers for the build Willo (y) After many years using Openvix and learning how to install and set it up everything went tits up with it
I couldn't be bothered re-learning all the settings so installed willobuild. All went well very smooth indeed.
One problem i had was with my HDD which kept waking up every 10 secs instead of remaining asleep.
My own fault should have formatted it before installing Willobuild.I fixed it by unplugging the HDD and shoving a 128gb USB stick in the back :ROFLMAO:
Only other thing was the ONYX skin was laggy button presses not registering straight away so installed Youvix Blue and that is working fine (y)

This is the last version I've got saved.
