The IPTV Crackdown Continues: A Thread For Customers Not Resellers

If someone breaks the law and is successfully prosecuted the authorities often use the case and sentencing to act as a public deterrent to others engaging in the same crime. The way people talk on here this tactic is used exclusively to put the frighteners on those of us who engage in illegal streaming.

If u own a stick and watch the likes of sky you are breaking the law
No one is saying otherwise.
Downloading mp3s way back in Napster days was also illegal but it didn't stop billions of people doing it every day, practically none of them ever got arrested for listening to illegal downloads.
Napster got closed down yes, and another six dozen similar mp3 sites appeared to take its place.
The music industry evolved to find its way in the new scheme and TV/movies will have to do the same thing.
They've already started, but I won't go into that here

Its like the eBay Vinted tax thing at the moment £1000 yer done. Its far far easier to have a pop at you clearing a wardrobe of sh*te out than having a go at Amazon for tax evasion. They will always try to have a go at the end of the chain, the easy target by putting the frighteners on us all. Fookin seriously ? door to door knocking ? you got a firestick ?/ you watching IPTV ?? your going to end up bummed in jail you know that don't you !!.

Why spend millions on chasing the IPTV bigwigs and years of investigating and then in the end they might not get a conviction. These people they arrest their not shy, they have ads everywhere selling pre-loaded sticks and boxes the lot, big flashing banners PayPal links the full caboodle honestly its like helicoptering with a semi on a nudist beach "I'M OVER HERE YOU KNOW, LOOK AT ME !!". Its easier for Sky and Vermin just to send a letter out to you saying your IP was logged into a reported server stop it or you face jail. Honestly guys I worry more about farting on a Sunday morning after a session on the Guinness than Peter Pervis and his clipboard knocking at mine

Same one that was posted on Sunday
The IPTV Crackdown Continues
No doubt there'll be a Daily Mail version in next few days, then a Guardian story, then Sun, Star, Mirror etc.
It's still only one person
Based off this, it's from the same group flawless which was the other big story of getting caught. Just the latest one convicted from the same group of people rather than a new operation

More regurgitated cases they like to keep pushing your way, he was a reseller for flawless who were done last year so he didn't need much catching.
Do we see the same high profile BBC news links for drugs raids ?, car crime gangs?, banking fraud?.
Much easier for them to post crap like on the BBC in the hope a turtles head pops out and your stick goes in the bin

What's that sound?

Oh yes, it's the sound of barrels being scraped.

Coming soon, "Paul Merrell jailed for illegal streaming scam"

Next month it'll be on Sky news website so idiots think they're getting caught every two minutes.

And it'll be reported here again by the usual suspects

FFS pal it's not an Anika's Challenge can you list more crimes than IPTV raids jesus,

More to the point, is IPTV arrest and a few servers been nicked worthy of headlines news ?? Ask yourself why it makes headline news.

Half of Joe Blogs don't even fookin know what IPTV is

You asked a question and I responded with some facts, if you had a bit of humilty you'd reply "Fair point pal" instead of "FFS pal." But that'd be admitting you're talking absolute twaddle and I appreciate that's probably a very difficult thing to accept when you've taken so much time and effort to construct your nonsensical posts here.
