Not everyone that Riots have to be labelled. I'd call a majority of them as being pissed off people sick and tired of being ignored by the Government. Sure no doubt there were some racist agitator there but that doesn't make them all far right EDL members 😆.

Romanians in Leeds at odds with social services! That's why I said police assess each situation on its merits.
EDL has been defunct for over 10 years just some ignorant Baboons who are looking for a reason to reclaim their country FFS,not on my behalf 😕

The problems with the breakdown in society and social problems are complex and layered. There are plenty of people willing to give simple solutions to complex problems.

Emergency Services are being stretched more and more, but have their budgets cut.

We’ve seen plenty of police officers abuse their power, so the public lose faith in them. No riots or demonstrations when Wayne Couzens was convicted of rape + murder!

Our prisons and streets are full of mentally ill people. When I was young there was a local mental institute where people were sectioned. Sold off to commercial developer and turned into high end flats. No substitute put in place to replace it. I expect this is mirrored around the country. Nobody wants to pay tax to house the mentally ill, so they walk the streets until they do something horrendous that puts them in jail.

Social services have had their budgets cut. In areas of poverty and deprivation it’s no surprise kids turn to drug dealing and crime. There’s very little opportunity for them or role models in their community. They see the drug dealers with the trappings of success, so of course this is an attractive proposition for them.

IMO the problem is not immigration or religion. These are what the super rich want us to believe to keep us fighting amongst ourselves. The REAL criminals are the super rich and corporations that are not paying the tax they should. I’m talking about people with personal fortunes over £10m.

When the public (taxpayers) bailed out the banks in 2008, who went to jail for the financial crimes? Even when the government sell back their share of these banks, the “investors” that buy them do this at mates rates! This is criminal. We bailed them out and we all had to suffer austerity. We should be making a profit off this. But that’s not how the game works for the super rich.

It’s all too easy for the rich to get away with this and they have been doing it for a long time. While we’re fighting with each other, they are taking all the money and contributing as little as possible. That is why our country is fucked! The government debt is lining the pockets of the super rich, meanwhile our society and public services are in the worst state.

There is without doubt a two tier policing system in Britain and not everyone at those protests are far right and they certainly weren't the EDL. However the riots were disgusting in all the towns over the past few weeks. It's just a shame they weren't all dealt with in the same way.

I think Kier Starmer made a huge mistake yesterday with his speech. I think it will fuel further protests over the weekend which will result in more police brutality and further Rioting.

it was a case they had to act since what had happened to baby p the riots in Leeds was a lot worse then elsewhere recently and the police retreated and was nowhere to be seen no soon as protests up and down the country they are there in masses throwing there weight around just look at London other over 100 arrests and one woman was 70yr old and did nothing wrong.

The problem is now in this country we have been invaded by scumbags that don't wish to live to our laws and crime has gone through the roof. I think people have just had enough of all the bad news. I agree it is no excuse to riot as that will get you knowhere but you will always get people that just want to cause trouble for any reason. I hate the way everyone just labels anyone with a view on immigration as right wing. When I was younger I grew up with quite a few (none English) friends and their outlook on life was exactly the same as mine and I never thought of them as black or white they were good people but I'm afraid the type of people coming into our country now do not share our values and they need to be removed before our culture disappeares.

same I have Muslim friends and family and they feel the exact same and rightly so anyone with an opinion on what we want in the country we love are branded far right and imo what ever happens to freedom of speech.

I watched the old bill run from mob in leeds for "cultural reasons" LMFAO yet it seems if you are an aboriginal of this country I've seen the coppers hit them with battons,kettle them into tiny spaces,even charge at them with horses,any saying this is not multi tiered policing is lost forever IMO
not saying to piss anyone off and won't be replying to smart comments,peace and love to my brothers and sisters the World over

They didn't assess the situation in Leeds. They fked off and left them to it. The following night they protested outside the police station and threatened them with violence if the children weren't returned to the Roma family without any consequence.

This is the two tier policing system that keeps being brought up.

This was some of the Leeds riots aswel as a bus set on fire. Both are out of order and shouldn't be happening but notice the media coverage 🤔
