Once again, really appreciated. I have been going through the forum to find the solution to make the channel synopsis scroll if it carries more data that is viewable. I saw a solution on the skin modding thread, where you add some code to the skin.xml file, but I cannot for the life in me work out if this was just to be added to the data or I should amend some existing data (that I cant find in my skin.xml). THis is needed as Chabs skin selector plugin still crashes every time it's run.
Specifically it was:

Hi,
I have installed this skin and followed instructions. Works fine except the epg is not displaying with the sky skin, rather it reverts back to the default skin? Any help??

Also: front display of STB is showing 777 rather than current time.

when i select the chabs skin plugin after pressing green button, the box crashes. trying to look through different skin preferences
 
Hi first time commenting on this forum, complete newbie to iptv and it's internals. I'm not a software or programming guy either but love thinkering with things, can someone tell me is it possible to get this layout/skin on a magbox or something similar ? I currently have iptv and it's using the stb interface, is there a way o change this or am I stuck using what ever my provider gives me? Thanks in advance

Not possible on mag boxes any enigma box zgemma edison boxes and more but not iptv boxes like mags so your stuck with what provider gives which tbh it's the boxes interface it's self

The Chabs plugin hasn't worked since openatv update moons ago.

The latest version doesn't have the selectable epg tabs.

If you want that use an older version of the skin

Another 1st of it's kind..

Download the attached rar file

Extract the ipk in the downloaded rar file and ftp the extracted ipk file to /tmp of your reciever

Installation:

Telnet command

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

OpenATV

Menu... setup... software management... install local extension
memory/tmp
Press ok on the package
press green to install
Reboot Your Box.

OpenVIX

Menu > setup > VIX > Iplkg install
memory/tmp
Press ok on the package
press green to install
Reboot Your Box

Once it has installed you need to set it as your skin.

(OpenATV)

Menu... setup... Usage & GUI... skin setup.
Restart GUI

(OpenVIX)

Menu...setup...System...user interface...skin setup.
Restart GUI

The Skin is Based on Open Pli but it should work well with most other images. I can confirm it also works well with Open ATV.

Feel free to try it on other images (please back up your image first before installation). Do post here if it works well with other images.

The Skin also includes Chabs Skins plugin which enable easy switch between 4 different versions:

Default Version (3 Event names Infobar)

Sky Alternative (2 Event in Infobar with Picon)

Default Version with EPG Tabs (3 Event names Infobar)

Hi Chabs this looks awesome. Is there anywsy i can run this on my firestick?? Ive a skyq app already on there but think its dated now
 
skyNEW Skin has been updated and uploaded to Version 2.008 now.

Nothing major, just added few screens, sorted the old issues in the skin and Chabs Skins Plugin, and also changed a few things in the Top Picks thanks to @wooshman

You can update the skin using Chabs Skins Plugin or woosh Build Infinity

I will also upload the ipk file on Post #1

Hi, Ive installed but EPG tabs missing on mine. Im running ATV 6.3 and Woosh Infinity on a Xtrend ET8500. Any assistance would be gratefully received.
