I would look at the small print because most of the providers I looked at stated that but they did have the inflation price hike in the small print. No In contract price rises it states on their website.

Its just been pointed out to me that the Eero only has 1gig ports the Arris ports are 2.5gb, maybe its not junk after allGood I'm just weary to swap so close to Christmas, no internet or issues and well you know .
I wish you well on your quest but some of us do not have other options virmin is only full fibre available , and were I stay there are no telegraph poles so not even pole to fibre availabe but talk talk is advertising fibre no even when with BT and talktalk before 19 mb at best via old copper linesRang Virmin this morning to give 30 days notice, first they said, you will have to pay early termination fee as still in contract, said nope, I AM GIVING YOU MY 30 DAYS NOTICE NOW, that means it will end on the day the contract ends (the reply was "oh yeah").
Then they said my final bill will be £64 something (i'm paying £28.28 which was £26 + the RPI + 3.9% in April), I said no I won't be paying that, as it's already paid upto the 4th Jan, so check again, they came back and said I will be credited just shy of £50 instead lol.
Asked why I wanted to cancel and told them straight, you lied and mis-sold the contract to me 18 months ago as I queried the RPI + 3.9% and was told it would not apply, they tried to argue it with me and I shut them down and said not interested, they asked what they can do to keep me and I said NOTHING, you lied i'm off that's it.
Now I just need to decide who i'm going with next.
Have you heard of or considered BRSK? They seem to be very good and I’m considering switching over to them once my current contract endsRang Virmin this morning to give 30 days notice, first they said, you will have to pay early termination fee as still in contract, said nope, I AM GIVING YOU MY 30 DAYS NOTICE NOW, that means it will end on the day the contract ends (the reply was "oh yeah").

Cancel and they ring you again nearer the cutoff time and lower it againMy 12 contracts up in March so I rang them. At the moment I pay £38 for:
100mb brand
TiVo low package mainly for free view wife's records crap
Telephone free weekend calls
I rang them and was told it would be going up to £57 which ain't gonna happen on my fffing watch.
I said cancel it, so I'm put through to retentions who offer me for £43 a 200mb (my lot hammering it) same phone same TiVo basic package.
I was just about to agree when she said, thats now for 18 months or 24. I said is that the same for new customers ?, she said I don't know which is crap. I said I'd think about it as 18 is a long time so she's made a note of the offer on my account
I want to stay with Virgin but im not paying the earth.
What do you think? Go with it or call bluff for a better deal?
