its got to be a shield every time
depends on how much you get it for. i have an older model and been using it a few years and its been great. i actually bought the pro second hand, and it bricked during an update, and nvidea sent me a replacement, based on my ebay screenshot, and a box to send the bricked one back free. the newer pro has AI upscaling so possibly better in that respect, but not sure how much more i'd pay for that. but a firestick 4k is a great alternative if you aren't using the gaming stuff. i use one of those daily too in another roomI've the opportunity to purchase a used NVIDIA Shield (2017 version, it appears). It's now several years old but would it be worth even today in 2024? Or are new Shields or other boxes just better, these days, regardless of a "good deal?"

It's not being offered at a great price and I don't think I'd use my main TV to stream video games through a streaming box (I would just buy an XBOX or somesuch). Thanks for feedback and comments. We will beg to differShield is still the best android device to date yes.
What would your recommendation be then?We will beg to differ
Having tried a shield many moons ago.. I would definitely still go to Android. But for endurance and ease of use Formuler.
Never had a problem with z11 & running mytvonline3. Best app on the market.. But only as good as your provider..I love the formuler just for mytvonline. I'd go for the shield if you want to play your own 4k files. My z7+ played evening you through at it via default player. The 11 pro max just awful in comparison playing my own media go via the LG TV now. For standalone IPTV formulers rock

Thats fair enough I haven't personally tried the Formuler Z11 myself. It has better performance than the shield pro? Or you prefer it because its easier to, mytvonline3 etc.Having tried a shield many moons ago.. I would definitely still go to Android. But for endurance and ease of use Formuler.
