Thanks for your efforts Wooshman and to all those who were involved in the build. Received my box today and had it up and running within 15 mins. I stopped at Step 7 as I don't have a line yet but hopefully will test things further later this week. If you could just clarify please at Step 7 once it is complete is there a need for USB containing the NLine details in my case to remain permanently attached to the device?

Edit - Nevermind it says it goes on Flash USB, so the USB used in step 1.

Because you needed 1 post to allow for downloads. Most people use the introduce yourself section, but hey, I suppose a post in my thread is one way of doing it.

I'd also recommend using CuteFTP as filezilla (depending on your setup) can be a little slower sometimes

Potentally got a issue. (This is for the future) I've got myself a new 2TB Hard disk (to replace the 1TB) Now I press blue and go to the flash online via green and all I get is Not enough free space on /hdd You need at least 300MB free space exit plugin

No idea what i've done but managed to fix it

Can I ask a question please. I change the name of the bouquets and delete a few I don't want, ensuring I choose the option to delete them from this instant or what ever it says and then the next day they are back again, can I stop this from happening? Also, I mounted some drives from my network drive so I can watch downloaded movies and stuff and then the next day they have disappeared, anyone know why this is happening, it's really annoying.

In AutoBouquet E2 press the menu button for the options and set Make All Default Bouquets to No.

I have just renamed the main bouquet to All Channels and then rescanned and it renamed the same, but I don't know to what effect it will have in the long run.

Have a play and let us know how you get one.

Thank you, have changed it, let's see if it's OK tomorrow. I think the thing with my nas drive is just how they were mounted and the drive was asleep. I have changed it also so will see if it also works tomorrow. Thanks for the help. Will update tomorrow if it works.

That message appears when the box cannot see a USB device large enough, so it either hasn't been mounted or it is not initialised.

Good job on sorting yourself out :-)

If so then fine as it is no bother I just wanted to check if that was what it should say, My TV guide currently says 28.2E UK Bouquets/Entertainment/Movies/Music/Sports/News/Documentaries ect

Yes mate that is right we all have that. I moved to AB E2 for the channel numbers in the EPG to be more like sly+

You can rename it if you want to, by making a simple change (well 2)

Green Button -> AutoBouquet E2 -> Menu button -> Make all default bouquets - NO
Green button (OK)
exit back to TV

TV Button -> Highlight 28.2e UK Bouquets -> Menu button -> Rename entry

Now rename to All Channels and exit back to TV. Job done.

Does Zgemma/Enigma2 do clever stuff with tuners and channel polarisation for recording? I just realised I sat through a 'third' show [zero timeshift] while I had a movie recording and an overlapping 2nd started, and had no conflict warning; just skipped through the records to a time-period where all three would be 'going', and was pleasantly surprised to find they're both fine. Can only conclude it does polarisation wizardry, or my box has grown itself an extra tuner(?!)

I am no expert but something I was asked / read.

Due to "frequencies" of channels, you can sometimes record a lot of programs all at the same time if they are on the same "frequency". I use " " as I don't know if I am using the right term for it. But basically, if it comes down the same staw you can record whatever is in that straw. So times that by 2 tuners and you could record LOADS.

Please someone answer poor boba with a better explanation.
