Hi all,

I have a Gemma Star H2S - I was wondering if anyone knew the answers to the following questions:

1. How to delete channel bouquets and have remain deleted?
2. How to move the position of favorites to for example position 3 or 4 if it is currently at the top, and keep them. I tried moving the position of a favorite yesterday but today it moved position automatically.
3. When you are on the channel menu and change channel, is it possible to go directly to the channel instead of it previewing the channel and then pressing select again takes to the channel. Ie going to channel directly?
4. Is there any way of backing up image and settings to transfer to another box?

Only issues I am having @ 9th April v3.02 of Wooshbuild.

1- The channel line up fine except bbc Alba on 102. I reloaded the autobouqets e2 plugin and then redownloaded the cross epg.
Think that's a issue elsewhere, not for Wooshamn to fix though?

2- noticed I get a few freeze ups on box which jam it totally versus an earlier build. Might be only affecting a few users though and not everyone.

Otherwise , this is spot on - wouldn't expect anything else though, as usual the build and setup guide is spot on

3 yes - have a look in setup/EPG and look at options for preview. Also graphical info bar EPG. Maybe someone will give direct instruction on this but it's all possible. Have a search too. I think it may give correct info on the earlier wooshbuild setup instructions towards the end of the sticky.
4 yes. When you are totally happy, get a USB and add a text file called "backup settings" then stick in front, blue button, software manager/complete backup.
On the USB you will have 2 files. One is called Zgemma - you need this one. The other can be deleted. Inside that folder is a file called no force, change that to force. When you put in another box it will force flash the unit when you switch on

Look at recent threads about auto timer. That's what you are after. It works but not as good as sky in figuring out daily shows like Corrie and Eastenders. You can alter the settings though and it works a treat.
I have posted about it somewhere recently if you look at my recent posts.
 
Hi there followed all the steps for my h2h box and worked a treat but when pressing epg i am getting n/a instead of channel names and are all over the place ?

Also wondering how to get the virgin channels in the epg rather than need to press the down arrow and scroll through like thisimage.jpg
 
hi i know i posted this early on but still getting this error when i try to pause live tv i used a 500gb hdd and mounted it as meida hdd and still getting the error i tried a sd card and still getting the same error anyone know how to fix this20160409_131820[1].jpg
 
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. Not a techie. I did a factory reset to resolve problem of not seeing CCAM in softcam on my Zgemma H.2S. Now my box just gets stuck loading/rebooting an ends at 00:00. Any help? Do I need to flash the box?
 
Hi guys, I'm stuck at step 2. Getting the error message 'initializing storage device error timeout elapsed'. Can anyone help?
 
What is the point in this? Sorry but i have installed this 4 times in 2 days as the box is locking up or giving the following error.

Any storage issues, always try another device. Maybe a HDD or USB the box just doesn't like, or perhaps not formatted right, bad connection or something similar.

Even try try a small storage size USB just to see how it should work then experiment with larger, rule of thumb (for most things in life) buy cheap buy twice.

lots of reports of cheap ebay 100+gb USB sticks that don't work after they were bought for 50p (exaggeration perhaps but you know what I mean)

Try to re-fresh the autobouqets. Menu/plugin/autobouqets e2/ start.
Then menu/setup/EPG/download
finaly restart box see how you go then.

Just reflashing it from scratch. Next time you get to a good place where you are happy do a back up and keep it so you can get back to that same stage again in future. Easy to say , I always mean to but rarely do!

The hard drive is 2tb western digital and worked perfect through vix?

When i go to plug ins autobouqets e2 isnt there, what category is this under in the downloads?

it happened to me this morning
still working grand. dont know why it does it but its just one of them things
 
Hi folks, tried to flash but it came up saying hdd full when I had already initialised the memory stick (128gb), it's a 3.0 however.. can't rewind or pause but can record. Is there a way to re initialise again to enable the pause rewind function without a total reflash. Btw, awesome build wooshman. Did this on the s2 without any issues. H2s gave me a bit of a issue...
 
any know when recording with this image keep getting a pop up blue circle spinning in top left hand side every 5 mins how can i stop that only happens when recording is there something i can turn off in image
