Hey wooshman, I gave this build a go 3.02 and noticed that my box freezes up a lot more...

particulrly noticeable is is that on setting a timer (auto record) from the epg the box has completely frozen up 3 times. Maybe unrelated, any thoughts, any one else had similar experience or any suggestions ?

Swap file is is setup and the epg is set to the USB flash disk etc etc.

If you still cannot download then go to the introduction section and post an intro there.
Normally within an hour you should have downloading rights.
 
this most useful one i have used as i a noobie to all of this and i just followed this step by step and i was up and running in no time thanks for your great work
 
Just setupnew h2s using the brlliant tutorial above. Only issue is with picons.
Followed the instructions exactly but no picons. Selected external hdd for destination also.

The file seemed to have downloaded but didnt execute after download. Went back in to picons plugin menu and the one i downloaded is now missing from the list so i cant try it again.

Any help please. thanks

***UPDATE***
I have installed another one from the picons list the same size but the SNP one. now my channel lists are all screwed up and showing radio channels and no channel numbers.

please help

Sorted. Had to go to Menu - Setup -Usage & GUI - Channel Selection Settings - "Show picons in the service list" turn to Yes

Why can't I FTP into my box?

I've installed this build (coming from Sucumnsee) - the IP address is the same as before, but FileZilla is unable to connect?

IP - 192.168.0.11
UID - root
PW - <blank>
Port - 21

Will not connect for the life of me.
 
Just want to say a HUGE congratulations to everybody involved with this project. Wooshman, Kiddac, amazing job guys. :smoke rings:

I've had exactly the same issues with setting an AutoTimer in this build, I've posted a separate thread on it, initially it was for Marcella on ITV but I've had the same problem with other programmes since.
 
All i can say i have no problems at all with the autotimer on this build done loads and not a problem with any ....all working all dancing ......everything working like it should ...had this build on almost 2 weeks now ....no freezing the most stable build i have used .....just my five pence worth (y)
