Remember that you need to make a copy of any file you manually edit. If you re-flash your box it will go back to whatever the flash image has.

i made an image back up after adding the .txt file an it flashes my other boxs with the channels pre set up how i set them out but yes i have a copy ov the text file thanks for the adivice wooshman love this build

It sounds like your cam is not running ?
Menu/info panel/softcam panel/press green button to restart cam
If only one sat cable connected then make sure cam 2 is disabled
 
Would like to say. Big thank you to Wooshman..For this build....I am a total thicko when it comes to this stuff...but with his easy to follow guide even I have managed to flash a Zgemma H2s from scratch and load a line....now if a Luddite like myself can do it anyone can....one very happy chappy and thank you to the lads and lasses who have pointed me in the right direction when needed.....thank you all

I have been looking through the settings options of AutoBouquet E2 and saw the option:

Make all default bouquets - yes

You should disable this if you want to move or delete bouquets.

Maybe setting this to no is the key to your answer?

Went out shopping and came home after a couple of hours and it was working. Think it might have updated when I was out. I think I'll just leave it alone now and just watch it. Thanks for the responses

i changed the swap to what was above
but bbc two HD ended up on 101

but all fixed
 
I set up my H.2s yesterday, start to finish took less than 25mins. Incl setting up the test line which I have never done before. So far everything seems to be working spot on, it is my first time moving away from the mainstream boxes so i'll keep playing around till I break it ROFL It's a shame S*y have scrambled the HD channels but I suppose you can't have everything ;) The set up is really well made and simple to use. Thanks Woosh. (And kiddak!)

I know setting up with a USB 3.0 in the front is advised against, however I set up my line using a spare 3.0 and it worked a treat.

Good job. Make a complete backup of your box first then start playing around. Then it will only take two minutes to fix everything.

The USB 3.0 stick in the front port only refers to flashing the box. Feedback has said that the front port is not happy flashing with a usb 3 stick, but then feedback also says that it works fine.... A USB 3 stick in the front at any other time won't be a problem (or shouldn't)
 
This is the best guide I have ever come across for setting up a box.
A lot of hard work has gone into putting together this walk through guide.

I've just noticed - although I've set my regional area to Meridian South, my ITV 103 channel is Meridian South East HD. There is however an Meridian South HD channel, so it's not that it doesn't exist.

I've had a go at going back into Bouquets and changing again to Meridian South and updating, rebooting, but this isn't solving the issue. Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT : Removed the confused fluff.

EDIT EDIT :
"Meridian South" bouquet doesn't contain Meridian South HD for some reason, but does contain the SD version. It loads Meridian South East HD swapping 178 to 103 (and loads Meridian South to 178)

"West Dorset" bouquet does contain Meridian South HD - but at position 95 in the 'Other' tab. (West Dorset usually has 'Westcountry'(SD), uses 'Central West HD'(HD) and has these at 103 and 178 respectively)

I edited custom_swap.txt in two places to take account of BBC1 HD moving:

115=101 (for BBC1 HD)
95=103 (for Meridian South HD)

The first time I did this, it didn't seem to work, but that may have been as I used '095' rather than '95'. Did a channel scan and I now have Meridian South HD at 103.

Anyone have any idea why that happened?? Is that to do with BBC1 HD moving??? But it seems to me that the Meridian South bouquet isn't downloading Meridian South HD.

I've installed this wooshbuild update on my H.2H box and followed everything to the letter,
but the epg isn't showing anything! CAN ANYONE PLEASE ADVISE anything or of anyone has had the same problem please let me know if you found a solution,

I have installed the latest version on to my HS but I have no epg. When I press epg I get the software management menu.
Can anyone offer any help?
 
Just flashed this image and instructions were great and everything working fine so thanks.

One question how do you changed the behaviour of the up and down buttons when watching full screen. Currently it goes to Single EPG and I would like to just be able to scroll through channels like on sly with just the infobar
