The penny finally dropped as makido has been testing and flashing all day.

WB v5 goes online and gets v6. WB v6 goes online and gets v6 to re-flash. They are from two different locations which means two images
Now... some donkey sorted the issues and uploaded the new image - notice the word image and not images....
WB v5 was still getting the original v6 but a reflash of v6 got the new version hence fixing the EPG issue.

Now that some donkey will remain nameless but it wasn't Makido or Beni's fault which just leaves me I suppose.

Thanks for the feedback, it is what makes it all work in the end.
 
Just reflashed my dads box again for the 5th time today and still cant get anything apart from fta channels and wont recognise usb with cam file on if i transfer it over via file explore or ftp it just crashes and gives this.. was working fine before upgraded to v6 and had no paid channels.. box is a h2s

And you have been through and checked the mount names for the USB devices you have on the box as previously posted?

The error is indicating the CCcam.cfg is not on the media/hdd device which is normally the one in the back.

two questions though
1. What happens when you restore the settings back you made from v5? - does the line return?
2. If you can FTP a file to the box, why don't you just ftp the line to usr/keys, go into the softcam panel to select the required cam and start it from there?
 
I cant restore back as never made a backup (silly me) and i have ftpd the file to the keys folder i will have a look at softcam
 
Right got it working eventually i think.. when i went to softcam there was no cccam in there i had to download it and set cam1 as cccam.. i also had to delete the line that showed up in usbimporter.. re sent it to the usr/keys folder.. went onto usbimporter and selected the line and it worked eventually so everythings ok so far i think

The skin shows 3 timers, use the down arrow and it will show you the next three and so on. I will speak to Chabs about having 6 on display like the auto timers screen.

OK, been busy...
There can now be 6 devices plugged in and it stands a good chance that the cam importer will now see it regardless of what it is called. I could add more USB sticks and expand it further but I think that if you have managed to exceed this then your box needs shutting down and USBs removed and box restarted.

I have made some tweaks to all eventualities - I think.

As line issues so far have been server problems or sorted by using FTP, I'm confident that other than the cam importer not finding anything other than HDD or USB before this newer version, there is nothing wrong with the image or the cam importer.

I will get this uploaded tonight so will be part of the software updates and also added to the main images so new users already have the latest version.

USB Cam Importer 3.003 has been uploaded and is in software updates. I will get the new image done tomorrow.

Now, I have been using wooshbuild for long time now...and I was trying to update it online but when i go to online update I dont see anything...after a reboot there is a small green pop-up informing me that v6.000 is availabeble but when I go for "blue" button i dont have any image to update to...I'm using v5...is it just that the server is down or am I doing something wrong here ? ladasik, here's the v6 instructions courtesy of Wooshman:-

1. From full screen TV, press the green button to open the plugins screen and select WB Config
2. As you look down the list of options you will see at the very bottom the option to update to WB v6
3. Highlight "Upgrade to WooshBuild v6.xxx" and press the OK button.
4. Follow the onscreen prompts.
5. Once the latest version of WooshBuild has downloaded and flashed, return to WB Config and restore your settings (which you may have created before flashing)

If you don't have the upgrade option then you can use the re-flash option and it will update anyway.

It is that simple and takes 5 minutes.
 
I have two h2s's with v6 on the systems im having a devil of a job trying to load my clines onto the systems wooshbuild 6 just does'nt want to know i have tried loading it into the systems all day yesterday and fnnished last night at 10 o'clock only one accepted the cline and worked but we had to manually put it in through filezilla switched it off this morning and quess what not working again it's doing my head in question ............. is there a problem with wooshbuild v6 thanks any help will be helpfull
 
Hi just updated to wb6 very straight forward even for an old fart like me (don't know what all the fuss is about can't get any easy than this)
thanks guys think i did recongnise one of the picture as uranus which makes me wonder where the pic came from!
 
Whats the difference between all v4.001, v5 and v6. I'm on v4 now with my zgemma 2s and apart from the missing few channels everything works ok so is it worth upgrading
 
To be fair to everyone @rapidwrinkly everything seems up and running as it should be. With every release there are bits and pieces which have either been missed by us testing it or something that only gets found when fully released and a lot of people start running it.

The best advice I can give to anyone flashing today is once you have flashed WB6, do the software updates so you have the new cam importer.
Blue button -> Software updates -> Green button - then restart the box when it asks.

v4 uses OpenATV 5.1
v5 uses OpenATV 5.3
v6 uses OpenATV 6.0 - the latest version

v4 was more a manual setup and upkeep version.
v5 had a simple setup called BaseBuild which made flashing WooshBuild simple and automatically sorts missing channels where available as well as give +1 and Irish bouquets and a few other bits.
v6 is pretty much the same as v5 except for OpenATV 6.0 and a new cam importer. v4 and v5 won't receive any updates from OpenATV or us.

If you are happy with your box the way it is running and does everything you want it to do you can stay just as you are until it doesn't run anymore. One user was running v2 up until recently.
