Wooshbuild Support Thread

Morning. I updated to 6.0 a few days ago and reflashed this morning but still have a problem with my timer menu. It only shows 3 scheduled recordings on the screen at any one time. Is this a bug or just the new skin and is there a way to increase the number you can see on screen? It use to show about 10 at once.

This is how it is scroll down and next three will show etc
 
I will take a close look at the new cam importer and see if there is any reason why people are struggling with it.
USB Config 3.002 fixed not finding a line on the USB.

BUT it doesn't stop the "no playable media" message which may show when you insert the USB. This ISN'T WooshBuild it is OpenATV. It is saying there are no media / photo files on the USB. It ISN'T saying it doesn't work.

It worked fine for me this morning. I also used it to back up my line onto my HDD from my USB with no problems and the box is now retaining the line.

New cam importer works a treat and is very slick.
It even recognised cams like newcamd_xxxxx
And would install them.
Only problem I had and this may have been fixed now is that I could not view the contents of the newcamd file.
On my box it blue screened.

Many thanks on the effort you guys put in to this.

I wonder is someone could help me.

I have installed V6 and I am also having problems with my box finding the Line. When I came to Restoring settings the box now goes into a continuous Loop after 'Welcome to Wooshbuild, do not touch anything' and then that Blue Screen appears saying 'We are really sorry, your receiver encountered a software problem etc." - and then the whole process just repeats itself.

Not sure what to do now.

You need to do a reflash then mate......and if you cant now access the box it's probably going to be a reflash from scratch using base build.

Would this be the old way of putting an Old version of wooshbuild onto the USB stick?

Cant see a download on here for V6. I guess my Hard Drive would be wiped with the recordings gone etc?

It will put the latest version of wooshbuild which is v6 on.with the line problems your having i would have a good read back through this thread....but i have also read that some providers (of lines) have been blocked. here is where you can download the basebuild from http://www.wooshbuild.co.uk/.

Ok so V6 is running again now but it did not recognise my Line on the USB though. Pause etc and assessing the recordings all seem to be fine.
 
When you say it wont recognise is it coming up with a no media files message or something like that because if so ignore it...go to the cam importer plugin and press ok.
 
The USB is recognised in Mount Manager as Media/USB but it cant find it on there in USB Cam importer for some reason

I mean the Line can not be seen.
 
Hmm ive seen this earlier on in the thread but i'm not sure what the outcome is.i know one guy said he had the same problem yesterday.....but when he turned on the box this morning the cam importer was working.the other way to put it on is to FTP it using filezilla.by the way is it a nline or a cline
 
Not sure if it has any relevance to people doing the WB6 upgrade & then only have FTA channels. I notice after I did the upgrade via WBconfig when I ftp'd into the box it seemed to have created a new file Newcamdlist alongside the existing newcamdlist file. I know a while back when I was trying to install skyQ skin & picons it wouldn't work at 1st as I had named a folder Skyq instead of skyQ. Soit might be looking at one of these files rather than the other for the line details.

Having trouble now on V6 recognising the HD after when i tried to re-flash wooshbuild (hoping to get USB Cam Importer 3.002).

I'll have a think and keep playing about with it...

Upgraded to v6, no real problems however this one.
When I go to add the line via usb cam importer either from backup on hdd or via usb out wedding work. Any advice
