WilloBuild WilloBuild OpenViX 6.7 Series

Hi All,
Just wondering if this is possible to change somehow?

Openvix 6.7 with willowbuild Zgemma H7S - When pressing info button it displays start time on the right side of the info bar. when you use channel buttons up \ down it displays finish time and next programme, is there any way to add this on the info bar too

(Using sky Q skin if that matters)

Thanks

Pressing the OK button shows the same as CH+/- as far as I know. I haven't changed anything.
Most of my boxes don't have an info button so never really bothered with it.
You can change what it does in MENU > SETUP > USER INTERFACE > BUTTON SETUP.

How do I set the default channel on bootup on openVix? I've forgotten

One of my Tiviar alpha is dead , looks to be the power regulator , the other tiviar alpha box had a dvb tuner that was dead and it was getting quite hot on occasion , so I took the power circuit out of that and switched it with other box. So I've one working now, cobbled together . Great unit over the years , sorry to see the back of it. Hopefully the one working box stays going for a while.
Seems hard enough to find a comparable box with 2 satellite & 1 saorview tuner these days for reasonable price like the Tiviar's were back in the day. Was what got me on to these forums , first with OpenATV and then to openVix.

From live TV, press the down button (under OK) to open the Channel List.
Highlight the channel you want to start up on and press MENU > select USE AS STARTUP SERVICE > Also on standby.

The Zgemma H7S is a decent box with twin sat and single terrestrial for about £99 last time I checked WoS out.

I’m only learning on the go myself and have the zgemma h7s as my main box and it’s a great job. I’ve it connected to Ethernet also and have the 7 day epg for both saorview & uk channels. Very happy with box. I used the amiko and some difference. This community was very helpful to me.

Sold out on WOS at moment, available in Ireland at about €195.
I’d hold off if I was you they tend to pop up on adverts or DoneDeal. I took a chance after contacting a guy on adverts and the box was prefect. I think there abit cheaper from Germany to buy not sure have they the hard drive storage as extra. I was a complete newbie ( still am really using them) but I can understand why people give up on them. You need patience if not used to all this stuff.

Flashing the Receiver.
– Fully power the receiver down via the rocker switch at the rear of the receiver.
– Make sure no USB devices are plugged into the receiver at this point.
– Insert the USB stick containing the image files into one of the USB ports on the receiver.
– Power the receiver on from the rear rocker switch and await instructions.
– As your Duo2 starts to power up you should see a prompt on the receivers display asking
you to press the power button, at this point you need to press the power button which is
located behind the flap on the front of the receiver.

I see you tried Flsdhing in your other thread , the usb stick fat32,?

Is it worth updating to 6.7 from 6.6 on Zgemma H7s. If it is do I just do this from the box or run your script in a new partition and this will install the latest 6.7 and update from settings back up after.
