189 updates if anything like openatv are you not safer reflashing latest image then restore settings

yes and there may be a few updates under 100
not 189 updates needed does not seem as if there has been regular updates but up to the user even though it is saying reflash advised.
And those updates need to unpack then install unlike a clean flash

Thanks mate that's exactly what I did and the problem sorted. Thank you all for your advise and I understand updating the box on regular basis is paramount.

Tried to run this earlier , on a tivar alpha that's running open atv got a html error though receiving packages with wget , is it still valid ?

OpenViX is the base image. Willobuild is just a collection of settings, skins and plugins that is restored on top of ViX.
Originally set up to help newbies who don't know how to setup their box or for people who just wanted it done quickly.
The receiver has to be supported by the ViX team.

You should be able to flash ViX from the ATV Image Manager downloads.

Use bouquet maker Xtream it's an updated version of jedimaker

Hi. I’ve just realised I’ve got 226 updates. Should I just run the Willo software update or do I need to re flash.

Make a settings backup and reflash is the preferred option.
The Willobuild Updater only updates my files, not the ViX ones. Best to run it after a reflash or software update.

Morning. When I re flash. I was thinking of overwriting an old wooshbuild not used anymore in slot 1. Slot 2 is where Willo is on currently. I also need to get xe back on. If I back up settings can I update to this new slot and will the xe code change as I would then need to get hold of my Iptv provider.

It's fine to overwrite Slot 1. I don't know about xe, I've never used it. Can you use another app with an Xe line?
