WilloBuild WilloBuild OpenViX 6.7 Series

I'm making another effort to try and get my Formuler F1 working again for Christmas after a long time out of commission.

I tried that HDD Guru low level format on my SanDisk, which run an age. Then I Fat32 formated and copied the Formuler1 folder from openvix 6.6.0.12 to the SanDisk drive. I powered up the Box, the front of the box scrolled to say found image 6.6.0.12 before hanging on Booting. Looking at the TV, the Openvix/Will build logo is still visible.

Is it the end of the road for my box? Yours in desperation.
Did you extract the folder ?

For this tutorial we will be using OpenViX

1. Format a USB stick to FAT32.
2. Download the image of your choice and extract it to your desktop.
3. Open the folder you extracted to your desktop,
see another folder named formuler1, this is
your USB stick.

Flashing the Receiver.
1) Power off the receiver
2) Ensure no other USB devices are plugged into the receiver
3) Insert the USB stick containing the image files in
possible.
4) Power the receiver on.
5) When the receiver powers up you will
6) As soon as you see this press the power
7) If successful the receiver will reboot it self after the flashing process has completed.
8) Remove USB stick that contains the images file

Yes I extracted the zip like you find be and then copied the folder over.

For step 5, what does the receiver powering up mean? When I see the scrolling braces as I describe do I then got the power button as described in 6?

Press the power button as its booting up and the box should start flashing

Mine didn't have a power button I just unplugged it from the wall, put the usb into the back of the box plugged back in and as it powered up it went into flash mode.

Its on the left as you look from front, not the usual place. But I think box may have reached EOL and may be better to try Openatv as a last resort.

Okay I'll retrace that mine didn't work, so I just cut the power it never seemed to do any harm.
It was a great box only reason I got rid was it couldn't handle the hvec 265.

I would say its stuck. As a last resort do this, if it has an HDD disconnect it, NB power off at wall before opening etc. You have 3 usb slots, the back slot is recommended but in your case try the front.
