Does anyone have a list of channels that do clear? Like discovery, national geographic etc? If these clear I’d definitely buy

Almost all of the HD channels on these TPs open atm, (No LFCTV HD, MUTV HD or Box Office) - Lyngsat
11386 V ,11386 H ,11758 H,11856 V,12012 V,12090 V,12110 H,12168 V,12188 H,12226 H,12266 H,12285 V,12363 V
Recently added - Premier 1 & 2 HD, Virgin 1 & 2 HD, RTE 1 HD, RTE 2 HD, TG4 HD. (Some channels can go off at times)
No one knows how long this will last on 28e.

I think these boxes are for the sat enthusiasts. You won't get the full benifit without a motorised dish.

Yes its like @mike142 said ... Channels can come and go at anytime 2 weekends ago itv 2 3 and 4hd were cleaing and haven't been since.. any channel can become available at anytime and that keeps me happy

Now that I have motorised dish and many satellite scanned on my Viark 4K Sat box. The possibility of switching on a XXX channel is very high. I tried to disable adult channels clearing with server (tpo----- wesite) but it fails. I don't want adult channels in case I switch on in presence of my kids.
Is there any other way ? Do I have to manually find each and every XXX channel and delete it?

Thanks I will try this.
I tried parental control but it works on some channels but not others, they still open as normal. My friend has a starsat T14 box and his parental control is much better, it stops almost all XXX channels except very few soft porn channels.

If you have disabled them online, don't you have to rescan/reboot for any changes to take effect?

The server provider has option to permanently disable adult channels which once done can't be undone. This takes effect on all satellites and does not affects re scanning etc.
But if I block the channels by highlighting them then if I reset the box for any reason then I have to manually find all the adult channels again and block them.

The parental lock option on Viark box is not that effective.

yes I have to restart the box to take this into effect but that can be done once the disable is successful

Finally managed to disable adult channels on my Viark box on the server website. I was not using the 4 digit code which is at the end of serial number.

What I mean is, you have already scanned for, and got XXX channels.
I would delete all channels first if that is an option.
Power the box off.
Go online and disable adult.
Wait half hour or so.
Power on and scan for channels

The rescan will find the channels again. So disabled them on server itself. Hopefully I can switch channel with confidence knowing that their won't be a surprise XXX channel on TV screen with kids in the room.

I have on the 4k Sat it work found that the PT connection and the Cline do clash over who is clearing a channel available on both. Not played with it enough to resolve it yet.

Is anyone aware of a channel editor which works with Viark boxes?
it’s such a hassle to edit channels on the box, it’s easy to do it for E2 boxes on computer.

there is option of load user data.

I think we can save and load to a usb stick

It was a joke.
But now you've told me that, what's stopping you downloading the list.
Edit out the xxx channels on pc.
Put it back onto USB and load it back to the box
