Finally got my motorised setup done today.
Got the motorised dish installed for £325 including equipment and labour West London area.
Set up includes- Triax 80cm dish, 18 inch T&K brackets, pole, 2 feed LNB 0.1db technomate, connection to 2 boxes, technomate 2600 M3 motor.

Viark Sat 4K box does open a lot of channels on European sats. But it did not open BeIn on 42e.

Hell of investment that mate for sat. You could get 3 sheild TV's with subs for what you have splashed out.

Already got shield TV, fire TV 4K and lot of other boxes. I think my real interest in looking at how things work, that’s why I keep buying gadgets ever so often

In 20 years mate you will at least need to update the sat box 4 times.

I think for the amount we are saving by not subscribing to official channels, we can buy boxes and dish every year. Plus the thrill of finding something new on the satellite

I dont think the viark will last 3 years. I think give it a couple of months it will be on enigma 2.

The trouble is not all the channels are clearing on uk sat. And that is the only reason 90٪ of people are buying it.

For the true sat enthusiasts I can see it is value for money.

Some of the 4K channels which clear are in high dynamic range, great experience watching them

Germany, ordered a few things from there before, never had issues.
Quite a few others on here got theirs from Amazon de too.

Boxes come with original factory firmware. Original firmware does not open any channels.

you can find the relevant firmware on internet depending on the box you buy.

you need to install firmware using a USB stick (do not install it via internal box update).

You can’t buy codes independently.

You know where to find firmware for this Starsat x3 pro 4k (receiver tv) I know of some one that can get codes

You know where to find firmware for this Starsat x3 pro 4k (receiver tv) I know of some one that can get codes

Starsat receivers should come with the Server firmware already installed, (Usually 15 months, it starts when you connect to the internet),
You can download firmware updates on the box or look on Google. - The latest firmware is sr-x3-pro-v3-4-9-11032021 (13-03-2021)
If the box is new you don't need codes.

Does anyone have a list of channels that do clear? Like discovery, national geographic etc? If these clear I’d definitely buy
