My Viark 4K can pick up a feed on 7E.

My Vu Uno 4K can't find the same feed.

Is that because the Viark has a newer type of tuner?

iv had a similar experience with some boxes , i guess some tuners are stronger than others is the only reason i can think of

It could be a setting in HDMI CEC try CEC system audio to off

I’m seeing this myself now. Is there a way to fully keep it from going in mute? Everytime I change source to something else the mute comes on.

I have a soundbar setup. Could this be the reason

Haha yeah mate it’s one thing after another! The solution works but it just keeps going in mute whenever I change tv source. Just wondering if anyone else has this who has a soundbar setup up and use hdmi ARC

Evening all left boxing channel on for feed tonight and still saying updating biss key- been 10 mins. Still hanging. Not sure if I have done something wrong? Maybe the card hasn’t started yet? Cheers.

Cheers guys. Great help as always. Think I fluked it. Ha. Went thru all buttons on v8 remote and eventually got there with hitting PG - then inputting the biss key. Once again cheers lads.

Like a few others on here, my Viark currently fails to record any encrypted channel, unless it has been left on that channel prior. I've found a vague workaround to this.

- Set up a timer for recording as usual.
- Set another timer, for five minutes prior to your program beginning, to end a minute before your recording timer, ensuring that both record and standby upon finish are set to "no".

Bit of a faff but works for me.

Im having problems with the EPG, I only see now & next. I am sure it used to show more than that.
It also resets if I turn the box off or go to main menu & back to TV.

For me the EPG has always been pretty crap, as far as I am aware it is on all of these type of boxes.

absolutely no issues recording on my sat4K.

All news to me this.

I have the issue on the original viark sat, i know the same issue is occurring on some gt medias as well.
