Hi advice needs just updated my gt8 UHD to s/w 1.11.12645 20 aug 24 as was no longer getting the green channels. The update seems to have worked however I am unable to view getting buffering data message please wait then encrypted any ideas how to rectify thanks in advance
 
anyone notice the reduced video quality/sharpness on the latest update for viark combo , i though it may have been something to do with the hdmi cable or box etc but when i rolled back to an earlier firmware the problem was gone.
 
No idea why but my viark has just stopped getting quality on channels. Rebooted the device and now won’t get any picture on any channel? Iptv fine and remove sat cable and repluged in. Anyone seen this before??

Your LNB could of failed or the connections to it.
 
Thanks mate so odd as I watching it fine and then after reboot just gone.

Anyone got instructions on how to backup and wipe to start again?

Do I need to reload the PT firmware as well? Assuming once that’s loaded everything should start to work again porovidong lnb is good
 
You can if you want but sometimes a factory reset is all that’s required

Cheers wouldn't have thought of that, might give that a try next time I'm in with him.
It's a combi box and the antenna side is working ok, would that make a difference?
 
Sorry for all the questions but the GTmedia V8 isn’t going green anymore. Have updated s/w to latest one above and restarted still nothing. Cs protocol says connected. Anything else I’m missing?

Last person with that issue loaded latest channel list available and all was ok
