So what's the consensus here Viark issued a new update that then expired your subs , but not everyone.
Before the update had channels stopped clearing , ?

I think it's just a mistake their end.

I lost 28.2E on 1.20, updating to 1.21 didn't fix it.

Thankfully mine is working again now, so hopefully they will sort the others out asap.

I refuse to pay again as the box wasn't cheap.. I feel sorry for anyone who bought it and it's not been honored..

If it is deliberate then it's not a smart move.

Sure to be the quickest way to piss your customers off and stop them buying from you again.

No other options, so I'm guessing people will just renew as they won't do without it..

Well you can always switch to gtmedia , starsat, geant, tiger, etc etc.

Pretty much yes, but they are not made by Viark and don't require the Spain only SP code.

Well it seems to be only viark boxes that are affected, but as I said above, imo it's just a mistake and not deliberate, and hopefully they will fix it for everyone that has the issue asap.

Totally agree with you there, they have got a good brand and had good support from people who have helped them and to pull something like this is just commercial stupidity. What a way to upset your customers.

To be fair none of these clowns viark or GT Media are whiter than white...the decisions they make or mistakes goes to show they haven't a clue how to keep customers happy. Hopefully it's resolved for those affected.

Done a factory reset and then redone the updated by USB and then factory reset again and bingo all working.😁

It was working fine this morning however it’s off now but it’s currently in test so comes and goes
