Viark VIARK TYPE BOXES

I've just set my sat 4k up and done an ota update and reinstalled my channel list and channels on 0.8w and 28.2e are fine. I wonder if there is any difference between usb update and ota update?
the update isn't the issue, as 28.2E went down for me, when I was still on 1.20.

I thought updating to 1.21 would fix it I did usb update first, but it didn't fix it. so then I did factory reset and ota update, but again that still didn't fix it.

Yeh its a strange one that some people are having issues and others are perfectly fine.
 
If you have a Viark box,I was told you now have to be on sp1 Spain (for Viark), not sp1 Europe. It adds a year on to your current subscription. I have Viark 4K box, it had until November 2024 to expire. Paid channels on 28.2e went off last week, all other satellite worked fine. After paying for another 12 months to sp1 Spain (for Viark), all Paid channels that currently clear on 28.2e came back on. My expiration date is now November 2025.

my box has sp2 Spain, and 28.2E still went off last week.

My box is SP2 spain and its still off.
 
Viark Spanish boxes can only be updated with SP1 SPAIN.
If your 28E channels are off then add another year's SP1 & the 28e channels should come back on.

This is the website for checking Spain boxes - Renew your device with trust
Click on "SN Validity" & enter your serial number, if it gives you the boxes server details then you need an SP1 SPAIN renewal.
If it says, "Response from server, Error,Invalid SN", then you need SP1/SP2 Europe.

Even though my sub was valid till 2025 nothing worked.
I just bought a SP2 and my channels are back working.

I must say this is out of order people with valid subs needing to purchase another sub even though their current one is still vaild.
What makes it even worse is not all Viark users were effected.

Puts Viark in very bad light in my opinion.

Do you think this issue with the sly 28.2 channels might have anything to do on where the viark box was sourced from? I got mine from Germany with sp2 Europe and have had no issues with the sly channels like some recently. Maybe it’s just affecting those viark boxes that were sourced from Spain? Just a thought.

Mine was sourced from Spain and I have no problems.
 
What are you telling here ? Some problem with viark ?
Is everything fine on viark as last week or not ?
5 days ago everything was working fine when I tested my viark , I think still all ok or not ?

Only you know if your ok or not , are your channels cleaning.
 
So what's the consensus here Viark issued a new update that then expired your subs , but not everyone.
Before the update had channels stopped clearing , ?
